Dam: Durango's Yaquina

Co-Owned with Triple H Ranch!

Durango's Yaquina

SuriBred (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31480215DOB: 8/2/201014 yrs
If ever there was a super star-studded pedigree, this Champion girl has it. Her ancestors include some of the most successful alpacas ever in the history of the Alpaca Industry. To start, via her dam, who was a multiple champion herself, Yaquina can count the much-decorated Accoyo Belmonte as Grand sire and the famed Accoyo Caesar and Accoyo Jackpot as her great Grand sires. These 3 males by themselves would be enough to desire Yaquina. But add in her paternal ancestors and Yaquina becomes a must-have for any savvy suri breeder. Yaquina’s sire, Moon River’s Peruvian Durango, is the world-famous medium brown 7 x champion who was bought via private treaty 2 years ago and now calls Australia home, making Yaquina his very last US offspring. And from her sire, Yaquina gains direct lineage to the legendary DDF Peruvian Macgvyer, winner of more Herdsire of the Year awards than any other sire in the world. Yaquinas genetics aren’t just spectacular, they are rare. As mentioned above, her sire is no longer available here in the US for breeding. And her dam, our multiple Champion Mitexi died from a lightening strike after producing only 2 cria. So Yaquina is the only alpaca offering this unique mix of celebrity bloodlines. Yaquina is a solid girl carrying all of the elite suri traits breeders aspire for in their breeding programs. Her successful first show season, her siblings and their show records and of course her ancestors offspring and show record are proof that she wont disappoint in delivering gorgeous cria like herself. Take a look at her fleece photos to see what we mean when we say she is loaded with luster, exceedingly dense and locked to the skin. Her lustrous fleece drapes densely down her sides in thick, individually twisted locks that carry that cool, slick feeling that is the signature of an elite fleece.. Yaquina is a real diamond. Yaquina delivered a gorgeous dark brown male out of Vader's Upoar of Pines Edge. We are excited to watch this boy mature!
