Lady Arabella Rose

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Rose Grey
AOA# 32746334DOB: 5/20/201311 yrs
Arabella is a beautiful example of a harlequin appaloosa. Her face is extremely freckled, and she has extraordinary variations of dark rose grey throughout her blanket. Not only does she come from a spot producing lineage, but she has also proven her ability to pass on harlequin genetics. She has a very soft and fine fleece with great brightness. As a first time mom, we couldn't have been any happier with her attentiveness and milk production. Her sire, Our Man Flint, is a blue ribbon winning fading fawn with an ultra compact build on a large-boned frame. Her dam, Alpaca Republic's Kwanita, is an Aussie Rockford daughter who produced spotted offspring on multiple occasions.

Description

Boomerang is the result of combining Rockford harlequin genetics with those of Zephyrus. He's out of our former herdsire, Mr. Butterscotch and our harlequin girl, Arabella. Unfortunately, Mr. Butterscotch had to be put down due to age related health issues, so this is is last cria! Boomer is really unique - he started out fawn with some dark spots. After cria tipping, his top line and face are starting to grey out. He would make a great addition to an appy/harlequin program. He's out of two proven spotted lines.
