Update: We were not disappointed in the pairing with Kodiak. A couple days after Christmas 2019, Shadow delivered, Noelle, an incredible TB female! Simply Stunning! Shadow has been rebred to AVC AJ's Kodiak, hoping for another outstanding black cria!! CCAP Sunrise's Shadow is a stunning Light Brown female, out of MFI Peruvian Blendolite, a banner-winning Light Fawn female and sired by Snowmass Kahuna Sunrise, a multiple banner-winner! At the 2017 VA Alpaca & Fiber Festival, Judge Jude Anderson commented that Shadow had the finest fleece in the class, placing 3rd behind the eventual Color Champion and Reserve Champion in the same class! In her first halter show, 2017 MOPACA, CCAP Sunrise's Shadow took a BLUE RIBBON! In a very competitive class of Light Brown juvenile females, Judge Wade Gease commented that Shadow had good phenotype, a great hand, nice organization and a tight crimp style, which brought her to the top of the class!
