Gunsmoke is one of North America’s top producing males, He is 100% Peruvian and has 100% Suri offspring with over 100 on the ground! Gunsmoke is famous for producing practically every color and pattern possible. No wonder Gail Cambell at Ameripaca says “waiting for Gunsmoke cria each year is like a treasure hunt, you never know what you’re going to get but you can be sure it will be beautiful”. Gunsmoke offspring fetch top dollar at auction including $42,000 for Midnight Marvel at the breeders Choice Auction and $33,000 for a fawn female, Trinket. Gunsmoke’s male offspring have sold for as high as $75,000 and no matter what color are producing grey. See Radar at Ravada Hills as an example of a fawn producing grey and earning ribbons! Gunsmoke’s female off spring are prepotent color producers with versatile breeding possibilities. Even white off spring (see Whitesmoke) have done well in the show ring. If you are looking to add some excitement to your breeding program bring your girls to see Gunsmoke, and start your own treasure hunt.

Description

Rainbow is a proven, appaloosa male who possesses fine fleece and who is friendly with visitors! I hope you enjoy the candid alpaca photos. . . It has occurred to me with all the changes that have occurred in the alpaca business since I started in 2001, and with all the turmoil that 2020 has brought all on it's own, that we often take life way too seriously. We can be serious about what we do, without taking ourselves so seriously. So, with having to create a brand new website after 17 years, I thought a little laughter would do us all good! Yes, we have high quality breeding stock that have won national championships, and yes we have fiber/pet quality alpacas as well. When it comes down to it, every alpaca acts similarly in the pasture and each has its own quirky side.
