What a fabulous foundation female! Luna is 1 of 7 stunning Tuscan Gold crias born at Bella Vita in 2008. She has a large frame, excellent bone, exquisite, bright white, bundled fleece with long staple length, fine at 14.7 as a juvenile and 15.3 micron as a yearling with uniformity throughout. She is one of the finest of the Tuscan crias at Bella Vita. She is pure bright white with pink membranes, white toenails and no spots or shading. She has a level top line and excellent conformation. Her physical attributes and gorgeous fleece have placed Luna in the ribbons and excelled her to 1st place at the 2009 GWAS show. Luna is out of a Peruvian import, Susquehanna, who has produced exceptional crias. Luna was 1 of 3 crias representing her sire Tuscan Gold and earning him 1st place in the Get of Sire class at the 2009 MOPACA show, his first attempt for this prestigious honor. We entered Luna in the Extreme Progeny auction, but she did not meet her very modest reserve. We are only too happy to keep her in our herd as a foundation female for our white line if she does not find a buyer who can appreciate her and is willing to pay her ranch asking price, which is now well above her auction reserve. She is a rare jewel indeed and no longer available at a bargain price. She had her first cria in 2011, sired by Alpine King, a white male carrying great density and uniformity. He was a blue ribbon winner at this first show. Her second cria, Moonraker, was even better, also by Alpine King, carrying Luna's fineness on his fleece. He is the 2015 TxOLAN white male champion. Luna was bred to Golden Legend and produced 12.1 micron Moonstruck who sold at the Amber Autumn Auction in 2015. Her 4th cria by Corazon in 2014 is the stellar medium fawn female, Lucy Lu, who will also be included in our retirement package. She has won a couple of blue ribbons already as a juvenile. Her 5th cria born in 2015 is a medium fawn male, much like sister Lucy Lu, and is a definite herdsire prospect. Luna would be a great asset for any program looking to add a very high quality female of this caliber. Alpacas of her quality don't come along every day.

Xavier is a handsome, well- built male with phenomanally bright and crimpy fiber. He has perfect conformation as well as a pleasant and gentlemanly disposition. His sire is the widely-known Accoyo America Tronador (WH) and his dam is Skyline's Jacqueline (DRG). We strongly suspect that he will be able to achieve a multitude of colors in his offspring when bred to the right females. As for the spots?? One never really knows how strong the spotted gene is, but we will be breeding him to several females with spots in their lineage as well as females with none, just to see what we can get. Xavier does already have females confirmed pregnant, but since he is new on our farm, we will be offering FIVE "introductory-priced" breedings for the low price of $800 for the 2019 breeding season.
