Lindsey Rocs is a very friendly and inquisitive girl, backed by generations of solid genetics. Take a close look at her pedigree and you can recognize many of the "big names". Lindsey is a large girl, her fleece is fine and dense with a bold consistent crimp from shoulder to hip. Lindsey is bred to Snowmass Conopa for a late August 2013 cria.
Snowmass Conopa was suitably named after Dr. Jane Wheeler and her husband Dr Raul Rosadio non profit organization "CONOPA" www.conopa.org/conopa/historia.php, dedicated to the conservation and protection of the wild vicuna and pure alpaca. Snowmass Conopa was our best candidate to name and dedicate to their efforts as he represents all our effort to preserve the fineness of the vicuna as we advance overall fiber quality and color consistency over the entire body of the alpaca. He is a true testament to the advanced alpaca and his first cria on the ground have all been at the top of their class and showing the very same traits of advanced fleece in color production.
Snowmass Conopa, even at 4 yrs old remains to have a high curve 58.7, and high frequency of tight merino vicuna crimp with extreme density forming tight clusters of uniformly crimped fibers. Excellent brightness and extreme consistency of fiber character over the entire blanket extending into the extremities.
Snowmass Conpa and Lindsey Rocs should produce a high quality, blue ribbon award winning cria!
