Want to add Accoyo genes to your herd? Impeccable fiber fineness, crimp and density besides incredible coverage, and strong bony conformation makes Solariego the perfect Herdsire. Solariego is 50% Peruvian Accoyo and has an unbelivable look that the judges love. Andian Pride's Micron Count in 2002 at 3 1/2 years old read as follows: AFD=18.6, SD=4.4, CV=23.7, CV%>30=2.0. This 100% Accoyo male who was born in HISTAC quarantine during 98 importation has started throwing some breathtakingly beautiful crias starting in 2002. Solariego's show record is astounding and reads as follows: SEAA Tennessee Show 1st and Color Champion 2004, Wisconsin Spring Fling 2004 1st and Reserve Color Champion, PA. Breeders Showcase 2003-1st of 5 Shorn & 2004 1st of 10 Halter, MaPaca 2004-1st of 10 Halter, MIAF 2004 Fall Show 1st Halter, OABA 2004 1st in Fleece & 2nd of 13 Halter, AOBA 2003-2nd of 7 composite, MoPaca 2005 2nd Fleece, Great Midwest Alpaca Festival 2003-2nd of 11 in Halter, Michigan Alpaca Breeders 2003 & 2004-2nd Halter, 2005-1st Halter, Michigan Int'l Alpaca Fest. 2003&2004-2nd in Fleece, SEAA Tennessee Show 2004-2nd Fleece, MIAF Show 2005 Adult Obstacle-2nd, AOBA 2004 Nationals 4th Full Fleece Halter out of 12(A monster class), 2006 AOBA Nationals Fleece Show 4th out of 9. Solariego's yearling half sister(Seena's Goldilocks) by Andian Pride has three firsts and four seconds including two color championships at the Kentucky Classic and PAOBA. She also was Reserve Color Champion at the AOBA Nationals including runnerup at the All American Futurity in her first seven shows this year. She sold as lot 33 for $68,000.00 in Kentucky(4th highest female). Solariego has just started breeding. He has two gray fleeced girls Dulce and Promenade confirmed pregnant at this time with crias due on 11/8/05 and 1/7/06. Solariego has returned to Zodiac Ranch (He was at another farm for 5 years) and is one of the best male crias ever produced by sire Andian Price.

Sired by Danko who is a phenomenal silver grey herdsire. He is well-known in the alpaca world for throwing champions of all colors, especially grey and black. He has excellent strong bone structure, extensive fiber coverage and passes a typey conformation on to his offspring. The fleece of his cria tend to exhibit very uniform and tight crimp throughout the blanket and have done exceptionally well in the show ring. Amazingly, he has sired at least one champion at AOBA in each year since 1999 in a range of colors from fawn, to brown, black and grey. Danko was Sire of the high-selling alpacas at the 2000 AOBA auction. Eponine had fall 2006 cria from 2004 National AOBA Gray Champ Peruvian BAM BAM. Her 2005 micron results were very good at: MC=22.8, SD=4.6, CV=20.2, CF=94.7, Curve=44.7(40) Her 2006 cria Pebbles was born 9/18/06 a medium fawn female weighing 18.2 pounds at birth. This cria has breath taking crimp and density much like our previously owned Seena's Goldilocks who took the Reserve Color Championship at the Nationals in 2004. Pebbles will be consigned to a high end auction in 2007. Eponine was bred to Snowmass Nova on 12/7/06 and just had a beautiful Nova son born 10/17/07. Her son has been sold as a herdsire. She was bred to Oro Negro a solid black Champion full Peruvian Herdsire we own on 11/21/2007 and just produced a female beauty called Zodiac's Black Widow who is a Champion. She was rebred to Oro Negro a solid black Champion Full Peruvian Herdsire we own and had Sabine in 2009 who is a Champion too. She was bred to Snowmass Enlightenment on 4/15/10 and had a future herdsire grey male Enlightenment's Enrique. She was bred to Oro Negro for the 3rd time (all crias have been Champions)in 2011 and had a dark silver grey male Achilles in 2012. In 2014 she is being bred to our super dense, multi champion fawn male Solariego.

Description

Solariego’s Louisa is a beautiful bay black female with consistent, dense coverage that continues down her legs. She has a lusterous color and conformation. Louisa is out of JLFA Eponine (Medium Rose Grey) and Champion Zodiac’s Solariego (Medium Fawn). Her genetic capability will guarantee that her crias will have breathtaking crimp and density. She was recently bred to Color Champion JLFA Peruvian Frango (Casanova son) and possesses a potent combination of genetics! We were excited to see this cria in May, Beyonce is a healthy robust cria. I will throw in a free re-breeding for Louisa after she has her 2021 cria.
