Morning Star's Jeremiah

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Silver Grey, Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 31432610DOB: 5/16/200816 yrs
Jeremiah is beautiful. He has the look of his sire 2005 AOBA Silver National Grand Color Champion Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud. Plus he has the fineness of his dam with micron of 19.6, CF 96% these are outstanding numbers for a silver. His fiber characteristics are predictable for Rincon cria, dense, zipper crimp and gorgeous handle. He has that perfect wedge shaped head that Rincon is so famous for passing to his cria with wonderful conformation and presence in and out of the ring. Jeremiah is one of the sweetest animals we have on the ranch and completely willing to allow us to work with him for any health maintenance. He's personable and yet has that macho attitude. Just look at the way he holds his head and the herdsire look he projects. He is easy to handle in breeding, gentle with the girls and is doing a great job. Sadly, we are too small to use him for breeding as he should be, so it is time to let another ranch take advantage of him. Unfortunately 2 weeks before show season Jeremiah chose to roll in a patch of moss...ICK!! Even with fiber covered with moss he took 3rd in a class of 14 behind 2 Crescent Moon boys at PNAA Showcase in Pasco, WA. One of these boys had just taken CC at AOBA Nationals. For us that was as good as a 1st. He also took a 4th in a large competitive class at CABA in Portland, OR. Both judges commented on his handle and consistency "beneath" the moss. He has been shorn and fiber will be sent soon for stats. Jeremiah is the full package with the sought after classic silver look, conformation to match his sire, breathtaking command and presence and the cherry on the parfait to complete it all is his fiber. You get all this plus the bloodline of PPeruvian Pluro, Danko, grandsire Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol (6x Grand Color Champ) and Sire Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud 2005 AOBA Silver Nat'l Grand Champion to add to your ranch breeding program!

Cafe Dulce

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 31808118DOB: 10/5/200915 yrs
Dulce is one of our best producing females. She's true black, an easy keeper, and a good mom with plenty of milk. Dulce's first cria was an absolutely stunning dark silver grey girl in May 2012. On May 12, 2014 Dulce had an absolutely stunning grey boy, Diamante, sired by Chief Grey Feather (ARI #31825610), who is described as having “ideal fineness, silky hand, uniform throughout, high frequency, well defined crimp, virtually no guard hair, and a plethora of grey and black genetics.” Diamante was born big, strong, and was up and running in no time, with gorgeous fleece! He ended up taking a blue ribbon at his first show! On October 1, 2015, Dulce did it again! She had her third tux grey, this time out of our silver grey male, Jeremiah, a Rincon Cloud boy who is now standing stud at another farm. Dulce's newest cria is named Dulcinea del Toboso, from one our favorite literary masterpieces, Miguel de Cervantes' novel Don Quixote. On September 21, 2016, Dulce had a bay black boy with superb fleece from Snowmass Enlightenment!

Description

Wording provided by previous owner Epic Alpacas: "Dulcinea is sweet and gentle. Her rich, soft dark rose grey fleece is getting more and more beautiful with each day. Her dam has produced some of our best greys, including Lady GreyKnight and blue ribbon winning Diamante. Her sire is a dense tux grey from the legendary grey herdsire, Rincon Cloud. Dulcinea's 2018 cria is a gorgeous tux grey girl from our 10X Champ and 2X National Champ stud, Wilkinson! Wow, do these two ever make a great matchup!" -August 2021 Dulcinea had a drop dead gorgeous silver grey female, Bouzos Farms' La Bayadere, sired by our Epic Alpacas Methos. -April 2023 Dulcinea gave birth to a stunning female silver grey female out of true black male, Epic Alpacas Wicked Tinker. Beautiful, healthy and strong from day 1! Dulcinea is a really pretty girl! Perfect confirmation and look. She has made a wonderful addition to our breeding program and we love her calm nature. Easy breeder, easy birther, and great mother. She is perfect on a halter too. What more could you ask for?
