El Nino's Golden Legend

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 1422443DOB: 8/2/200420 yrs
Golden Legend is: ** 3/4 Accoyo light fawn ** El Nino son ** His mom is a Classic Rose Grey, 3/4 Peruvian & 1/2 Accoyo. ** He's been Get of Sire Winner @ GWAS 2 years running for 2011 and 2012! ** A presence that must be seen to be appreciated - he loves the ladies and is a gentle efficient breeder. Golden Legend has, at best count. 120 offspring as of spring 2018. As late as 2016, his entries in Get of Sire and Breeders Best of Three Halter and Fleece shows (level 3 and 4) resulted in high placements against younger herdsires - Golden Legend proves he is still very much relevant in improving the genetics of his offspring and setting the standard for exceptional breeding programs. Golden Legend is an exceptional male that stands for quality in both phenotype and genetics. His sire, PCA Accoyo El Nino is the 2004 AOBA National Get of Sire and Senior Champion of the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey show. Caligula's son PCA Accoyo El Nino, was unquestionably one of the top impact sires in North America. El Nino is in high demand, so much so that Pacific Crest Alpacas raised El Nino's breeding fee to $10,000, and shortly thereafter eliminated outside breedings entirely. Legend's dam is Sophia del Sol, a light grey, 3/4 Peruvian sired by Peruvian Camilio. At her first show the AOBA Senior Judge commented on the micro bundling in Sophia's fleece and said, "The only thing wrong with this alpaca is it's not a male!" If your goal is to introduce superior genetics that includes bloodlines such as Peruvian Caligula, Peruvian Camilio, and Peruvian Guellermo into your herd then you will be making a sound investment in breeding to El Nino’s Golden Legend. Many of El Nino's Golden Legend's offspring are on the ground and pulling in Championship after Championship in the show ring. At Prairie Moon Alpacas we keep Legend busy and have many exceptional crias to choose from if you cannot wait the long 11 month gestation period for a cria produced by one of your own dams. El Nino's Golden Legend pumps out carbon copy, cookie cutter, peas in a pod (however you describe the Xerox effect) offspring. TexOLAN 2016 Breeders Best of Three entry with 3 Golden Legend juveniles at 7-8 months old and not cria shorn, Golden Legend placed 3rd in a class of 4 where all entries were yearlings except for our juvenile entry. The judges (Arturo Pena and Wade Geese) commented that all of the animals in our entry had long dense large fleeces for small bodies on juveniles - and then they put their hands into the fleeces again and smiled. After the awards were presented, the judges commented "the sire was the same in the Get entry as the Breeders Best - RIght?". We entered different juveniles in Get of Sire and Breeders Best - and the judges recognized the sire from the fleeces in both entries.

Tameka is a dam of champions. I dont believe their is a single offspring of this dam that did not bring home one banner and most were multiple. Outstanding pedigree. Outstanding conformation. Outstanding Fleece traits. Outstanding temperament. Great Mom. A color champion is her own right. There just arent a lot of words that can do her justice. She came to Willow Wind Farm in January 2016 with baby at side; a gorgeous true black perfect little girl. I knew she was Special. Gigi won halter champion at her first show that fall and then again in 2017 at GWAS. Tameka is bred to Bea-2 Bomber and we could not be more excited about this cria in 2018. Tameka had a gorgeous rose grey boy with miles of long crimpy fleece. We named him High Roller and we share him with our friends up north at Wooley Beast. Tameka ended up getting a creepy infection and subsequent oral surgery where a couple of teeth were removed. We have allowed her to recover and look forward to giving this lady the man of her dreams this coming year. 2016 Histogram at 11 years of age: 23.4/4.6/19.8 WOW!!

Description

First, we must congratulate Andrew and how he did an incredible job breeding this stud, and his program should be recognized for it! SpringToo Jamahl is an outstanding medium brown male sired by El Nino's Golden Legend, a 3/4 Accoyo male who is sired by one of the most significant impact males in U.S. history, PCA Accoyo El Nino. Jamahl has a bloodline that is not easily forgettable with many of the top imported studs from all over. On JJ's paternal line he has two imported males who came originally from Peru, PPeruvian Caligula, and PPeruvian Camilio. These two males have impacted the U.S. alpaca industry tremendously, and both are now sadly deceased. If we stroll over to JJ's maternal line we see 4Peruvian Black Magic another imported stud from Peru, and Maple Brook Fandango, both of which are JJ's Great-grandsires, Maple Brook Fandango, is the son of Peruvian Bueno, an astonishing imported male. SpringToo Jamahl has easily one of the most Elite pedigrees to be found with brown colored males around the country. SpringToo Jamahl is a six-time banner winning male, who in those banners was the 2011 AOBA National Alpaca Show was the brown male champion. JJ won his first banner at the 2010 Mid-America Alpaca Show, where he got Reserve Champion, at only his second show! After that JJ brought nothing but banners home... SpringToo Jamahl has sired many champion crias over his breeding years, and we are nothing but amazed each and every time a cria sired by him lands on the ground, as we know it will be nothing but great! In 2016 Jamahl's daughter, Red Granites Molly took home the Black Futurity Reserve Champion female, then went on to win more champion banners and one of her sons are standing stud in Austria! And may we mention that JJ is not only producing white to gray and harlequin but he's producing crias with AFDs of 14.4!! Champions in BLACK! I mean who wouldn't want to get a breeding to this male! Please contact us regarding breedings to this lovely male, we'd be happy to work something out with you! We co-own SpringToo Jamahl with our friends at Crescent Moon Ranch, Infinity Alpaca Ranch and Stoneberg Alpacas.
