A true black male with the fleece characteristics of a light animal! He has grown into an outstanding young male and we couldn't be more excited for his future as a legendary herdsire. Eclipse's biopsy at 48 months of age is 150X scan showing fibre clusters very uniform in shape and placement within the connective tissue. He grades a true density of 74.5 follicles SQ MM. His biopsy skin thickness calibrates 2.4 mm with 6 fiber clusters in the S/P view that show an S/P of 13.1 to 1. Twenty five typical clusters show an average S/P of 13.4 to 1. He shows level 4 of 4 glands. 100 typical secondary fibers averaged 18.1 microns while 50 typical primary fibre averaged 25.3 microns for a variation of 7.2 microns. These stats figure an AFD of only 18.63 microns. These are amazing fiber stats for a mature black huacaya male. 2018 HOUSTON LIVESTOCK FLEECE HUACAYA BLACK 2YR. AOA# 35028123DOB: 8/17/201410 yrs
S&L Peruvian Bandito has done it again. Once more, the Black Magic, Silvino lines crossing with Matador and Augusto have produced a powerful young light brown female, NPA Regina. A fleece that exhibits all the characteristics I like to see in lingering fineness and maintaining all the structure necessary for this consistency level. Her staple length is her weakness. We are incredibly proud of NPA Regina and that we can offer her high-end genetics to the alpaca community. NPA Regina has foundation females all through her pedigree, and her grandsire is the well-known SA Peruvian Black Epic, known to pass color when bred to it. S&L Bandito's, Regina's sire, and a Black Epic son, conformation is excellent. His typey teddy bear full fleece head combined with a fleece that carries a medium amplitude and medium frequency crimp throughout are serious attributes. He has a lovely hand for his color and maintains medium density. Nwa, ltd Flash, NPA Oliana's sire, represented well at Alpacapalooza 2015. His daughter, Amerikan Freedom, took 2nd yearling white female and Reserve color champion, Micro, of course, took 1st mature white male and reserve color champion. Strawberry Field, a juvie white male, took 1st in an excruciatingly tricky class of 14. Flash's sister, Daniella, also took 3rd white yearling female behind color champ and reserve color champ. The following month, at the CABA Classic level IV show, with over 500 of the best alpacas of the PNWA present, Flash's daughter, Amerikan Freedom, took Judge's Choice Huacaya Female. What an honor!!!

Description

If you breed Snowmass bloodlines, here's an incredible MEDIUM FAWN for your future breeding program. PBR Eclipse's Promises in the Dark's fleece is fine, dense and has an excellent, advanced crimp. At a very young age, she displays fleece that very few have. The brightness is something to behold. Her sire, R Creek's Legendary Eclipse, comes from a rare pedigree with well-known names such as Snowmass Hemingway XX, Snowmass Artic Blue, Snowmass Quechua and Snowmass Matrix. NPA Regina's dam brings in color with her sire being S&L Bandito. PBR Eclipse's Promises in the Dark is an asset to any farm's breeding program, including ours. Promise's sire, R Creek's Legendary Eclipse, is a true black male with the fleece characteristics of a light animal. Eclipse's biopsy at 48 months is a 150X scan showing fiber clusters uniformly in shape and placement within the connective tissue. He grades an actual density of 74.5 follicles SQ MM. His biopsy skin thickness calibrates 2.4 mm with six fiber clusters in the S/P view that show an S/P of 13.1 to 1. Twenty-five typical clusters show an average S/P of 13.4 to 1. He shows level 4 of 4 glands. One hundred standard secondary fibers averaged 18.1 microns, while 50 typical primary fibers averaged 25.3 microns for a variation of 7.2 microns. These stats figure an AFD of only 18.63 microns. These are fantastic fiber stats for a mature black huacaya male. His awards include Reserve Color Champion Futurity 2016 Halter, Second Place Futurity 2016 Halter, Color Champion MAPACA 2016 and First Place MAPACA 2016! NPA Regina, Promise's dam, is no slouch herself. With a well-known grandsire, SA Peruvian Black Epic, on the top of her pedigree and Reserve Champion, NWA, LTD Flash, grandsire on the bottom, she brings crimp, fineness, and brightness to the table.
