Calicanto, or Cali as we like to call her, is a beautiful true black female! She has given us three gorgeous crias so far. Two blacks and one grey! Calicanto is an extraordinary mother and is just a fabulous female. We expect to see more grey and black crias from her in the future. We are very happy to have this female in our breeding program!
In her lineage, the well known Snowmass Royal Bronze and Snowmass Andean Bronze! Her grandsire Patagonia’s El Trauco, an 8x Champion. PPPeruvian Croixen 4736, top 15% in five EPD categories.

Description
Eiffel, or Effy as we like to call her, is a very cute young alpaca. She’s a gorgeous black color and we look forward to seeing how her fleece develops. At four months of age her fleece is fine, uniform, and very bright. We will continue to update her description as she grows!
Her great grandsire 382 Peruvian Zephyrus, is a 10x Champion who has won 16 First Place awards. In 2005 he was Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year! Her great grandsire is also Bisturi, a 7x Champion who is one of the most consistent producers of grey and black offspring and is considered a legendary herdsire. Bisturi moved to Austria in 2013 and has an impressive pedigree.
Her great great grandsire is the very well known PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014. Royal Fawn was an industry giant with unsurpassed influence on the North American alpaca gene pool. No other alpaca in North America has produced as many offspring, totaling 454 registered. He consistently produced show winners including 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn was the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show.

Due to rising vet costs, any alpaca purchased from us where health papers and/or blood tests are needed for travel will be assessed a vet fee per alpaca. Fees are based on destination and will be added to the purchase price of the alpaca.
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold any alpaca for purchase.
