The biggest news yet, are the results we are finding for what Estrada has been producing...Not just the fact that he is giving us the gift of color, but that his cria this and last year, are all super fine (see below), and have terrific conformation. The results from the Yocom-McColl Testing laboratories, have shown the most incredible results. Some examples of his offspring that revealed the following Micron (AFD): Estrada's Hot Shot, Medium Brown, 12.9 ~ Estrada's Bosco, Light Brown, 13.9 ~ Estrada's Pelegrina, Beige, 14.0 ~ Estrada's Marco, Beige, 14.1 ~ Estrada's Nicola, Medium Brown, 14.3 ~ Estrada's Summer Solstice, Dark Brown, 14.5 ~ Estrada's Lucca, Light Fawn, 14.6 ~ Estrada's IL Tesoro, Light Fawn, 14.6 ~ Estrada's Milo, Medium Fawn, 14.7 ~ Estrada's Marcella, Medium Brown, 14.9 Amazing results!! (Many of Estrada's off-spring listed are available for sale, so please inquire for details-SD, CV and %>30u figures can be provided on any animal.) Estrada is a well-balanced male from two top parents. His Sire, Evander does it again with this amazingly dense, fine fleece male with a great handle and luster, extensive coverage and a great body. With his 2012 shearing, Estrada had over 12.6 pounds of fleece sheared off. Amazing!!! We are very excited to have Estrada in our breeding program. Alpaca judge, Wade Gease has said about Estrada, "He is the "complete package". Very nice fleece style and crimp formation throughout. He has kept his fineness/softness." Also, Judge David Barboza has said about Estrada: "His architecture and density is incredible! Spot on!" And Alpaca Fleece Judge, Cheryl Gehly has written: "Wow! Fine with great character! Quite uniform for micron.""Beautiful Fleece: fine, bright, well organized!". Awarding him first place in the competition, and again, after the fleeces third showing at the 2009 Empire Symposium and Fleece Event, she commented again;"Beautiful Fleece: fine, bright, well organized!". Estrada's fleece (its fourth showing) took yet another blue at PAOBA show, May, 2009. To date, Estrada has eight multiple Champ/Reserve Championships, and 30+ first-place, blue-ribbon awards. See the details of his show record below, most in very competitive classes! Estrada is settling females. Traditional farm breedings with confirmed pregnancy, stud fee: $2,500. Aquinnah has had the benefit of inheriting both of her parents positive traits. She has the most lustrous and fine fleece! Loads of personality and grace Pietro's Aquinnah has become a terrific producer like her dam Molly. Aquinnah, named after the an ancient Wampanoag Indian tribal town, situated on the west coast of Martha's Vineyard, formerly known as Gay Head, entered the world on Mother's Day, 2008 without disruption. She had a very strong immunity level at birth, (IgG) and was up and about in no-time. She has a very fine fleece, and we could expect it to remain very fine, as her sire, Pietro, at three years of age, was at 21 micron. Aquinnah is ready to breed! We suggest our Estrada's Lucca of Island Alpaca for what we would expect, an astounding cria. Take advantage of her new low price! For more information or photos please email us at [email protected].
