Here you have the first of what we hope are many gray offspring of our Captain Jack Sparrow. Jack has a propensity to let the color of the dam pass and yet impart his fleece characteristics on the result. Jack has Produced Color Champions in every Color classification except gray and white, so we are working for the octfecta so to speak..... You are really going to like this male; huge staple length, extremely fine and bright, volumes of density, on a sturdy frame and broad heritage. We are looking to get him some exposure in a different geographic region and are willing to have a partner on him. We plan on showing him extensively and feel really good about the possibility of him being Captain Jack's first gray Color Champion. HE DID IT!!!! NEWS FLASH!! GRAYCONIC WINS RESERVE CHAMPION AT MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL ALPACAFEST 2014!!

Congrats to Macpaca Alpacas in Idaho for their purchase of Maid!! This was a though sale for us to part with.... This champion making proven female with a breeding to Tres Equis on board.... Ouch!! We zeroed right in on this girl during one of MFI's last auctions for a specific reason, to make an immediate impact on our gray breeding program. And like clockwork, Sugar has given us two gray cria and is on her way to a third. KCF Mad Max is a light rose gray Champion and multiple ribbon winner for us; and his little sister, Maid of Honor, will hit the show string in 2018. Next for Sugar is a cria out of our recent acquisition, TVA Tres Equis, the Rose Gray super Stud that just happens to be the sire of the 2109 AOA National gray female fleece Color Champion!! It's not the first champion offspring for Tres either. Tres's offspring are tearing up the shows with championship after championship!! Check him out!!

Description

Thank you to Rob and Todd of Windcrest Farm Alpacas for your purchase of this stunning female. We are soooooo anxious to see her first cria this May!! This girl has a story to tell.....with her fleece. So it's no secret that we have a line or two that we breed for gray. And as all gray breeders know, sometimes you strike on an anomaly or two. Maid of Sugar is a dam that we figured for going gray and she has not disappointed. Her son, KCF Mad Max is a very light rose gray that used to drive the judges (and the competition) crazy. Although he showed in both the light fawn and LRG categories, he is a rose, and did quite well. But we can't wait to see what the judges do with his maternal sister, KCF Maxine. She is lighter yet, with a classic gray half knot, and ever so slightly chipped eyes. 2020 show season is going to be fun. Regardless of where they put her, she is going to be a handful for the competition. Her fleece is dense, uniform in micron, consistent across the body, breaks into microbundles, and is so long in staple that it looks like she's never been shorn! It rocks!! This little girl is another fine example of both dam and sire, and we are looking forward to hitting this cross again. Now bred to TVA Tres Equis for a 2021 cria that will be incredible!!
