This Goldstar son garnered top awards at the biggest shows of 2018. National and Futurity GET OF SIRE CHAMPION for dark/mixed colored offspring!! Don't miss out on your opportunity to get a piece of these star studded genetics. Contact us today for a breeding. Dr Norm Evans' skin biopsy report: “BRKRD Goldstar’s Jet” was biopsied as a 22 month old dark brown suri male. His ARI# is 32364064. His 15x scan shows fiber clusters that are very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. This trait was passed from his dam. His density was 69.75 follicles SQ MM of skin with a 9.6 MM punch which adjust to a true density of 66.96 follicles SQ MM of skin. His S/P ratio from 25 fiber clusters averages 11.6 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250x scan that only 30% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers which should relate to excellent handle. He shows level 3 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density if likely nutritional. The average density that I evaluated in 2011-12 in mature Suri males that I assume breeders considered their best is noted on the third page of the new current summary. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 27.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 35.1 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 7.3 microns. Jet’s strong points are certainly his density, S/P, gland presence and the low secondary medullation.

Description

Took a chance breeding a brown herdsire to our classic grey female, WLK Adriana, but with the outstanding fleece stats Goldstar's Jet brought to the union we had a good hunch the results would be stellar. We are pleased to present Raynay's Silver Lining by Jet, affectionately named "Vera". Vera collect a first place ribbon at Nationals where senior Judge Wade Gease commented on her beautiful luster and loved how her independent locks were beginning to organize. She is extremely fine and it was obvious she needed to be shorn this past Spring. Her fleece was prepped and ready for the National and the Suri Network fleece shows this Summer. Her regrowth is nothing less than stunning. She has a sweet and inquisitive personality. Vera will make her 2021 show season debut at the 2021 AOA Nationals Show in Nebraska.
