Simply Stunning Crias!

Our Peruvian Hachiko

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 31794251DOB: 6/1/201014 yrs
Sired by MFI Peruvian Jericho, who needs no introduction, with 1362 Peruvian Honeybelle as a dam. For those of you that are pedigree aficionados, yes this is the same pairing that produced Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. His pedigree is a great combination of some of the classic original Peruvian imports, Bueno, Don Julio and Inca's Ransom. This is a very dense, fine male on the classic huacaya frame. He has exceptional conformation, with big bone and the square proportions we like to see. He is not a huge male, weighing in at 135lbs, which we prefer. His presence is that pasture is certainly not little. He knows he special and shows it. He had just started his breeding career at Finger Lakes Alpacas, where we were lucky to find him. He currently has a fawn female cria born this summer, that I haven't had the pleasure to see but am told is "one nice critter" by former owner and retired AOBA judge, Polly Michaelis. We have our crias on the ground, black to white and all stunning.

Dam: Grazeland's Pippen

Stratosphere Daughter!

Grazeland's Pippen

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 32015355DOB: 3/19/201014 yrs
Pippen is a lovely young lady who is a standout in the pasture. Her compact frame has very nice bone, with a level top line and straight legs. She has a correct bite and a lovely true to type huacaya head style. Her sire is PHA Accoyo Stratosphere, a well know Legacy son and her dam Sasha's lineage includes Mister Antonio a well known Hemingway son. Pippen's fiber is very very dense with a super soft handle and consistent crimp. She has a very long staple length and very nice coverage. Her first show at 6 months old she took a blue ribbon at the Heartland Classic. We are planning to breed Pippen this Spring, but we have not yet decided whether or not to breed her to one of our colored herdsires or to one of our Accoyo white males. Either way, I think she has the potential to have a top notch cria.

Service Sire: Patagonia's Amicus

The Great Addition...

Patagonia's Amicus

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 629186DOB: 6/8/200618 yrs
With his gorgeous head and strong frame, Amicus exhibits a beautiful phenotype. Packed full of fiber that is dense, lustrous, and wonderfully crimpy, we were excited to add this herdsire with his strong grey background to our program. As listed below, Amicus brought home the ribbons during his first year on the show circuit! This is not surprising considering the successes of both his dam and his sire. Patagonia's La Bohemia, a Danko daughter, is a beautiful silver grey female whose show record is impressive and includes four color championships. Amicus' sire, Kaspa, really needs no introduction. His rosegrey fiber is a beautiful shade of pink and has brought him high acclaim in the show ring where he has won six championships. Amicus is a treasure and easily settles females. His crias show incredible luster, strong bone, and his gorgeous head. They also inherit Amicus' sweet temperament. Amicus has thrown true black, silver grey, and light rose grey. As you can see from his picture, Amicus holds himself very proudly and is very alert to his surroundings. He is solidly built with good substance and capacity to his frame. His bite is correct. As he originated on the Patagonia Alpaca farm, he carries strong genetics for gray. If you need a stud that will add substance & structure to your dams production, this is the stud to look at.
