JJA Royal Laredo

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 31717618DOB: 7/16/201014 yrs
Laredo is extremely correct conformationally with a compact frame, heavy bone (can we say, tree-trunk legs?), and straight. He has a great presence and "look at me" attitude, but is extremely easy to handle. (We use him for behavior testing our girls - not at all pushy). Laredo has almost no white or gray fibers - unusual for a black. At one year, his fleece was 21.0 - very nice for TB! Extremely dense. Laredo has produced two girls, both of which are square statured and on the shorter side. Laredo has added density to both dams. He is very easy to catch and handle - shots, toes, no problem. Leads great. Not pushy or aggresive with the other boys or with people. Would make a great pet or 4-H animal (he wouldn't be "a project" - maybe great for performance?). Full disclosure: Laredo does walk with a limp due to a previous injury. Package deal: Laredo (or another $250 boy) for $250; two for $450; three for $600.

GA Zesty Zoe

HuacayaOpen (Female)Bay Black
AOA# 1095111DOB: 9/8/200420 yrs
Zoe is bay black with the cutest little white spot on her nose and a little white on one ankle. She is a solid and square girl with a refined and delicate head (maybe it's the nose). Very calm and easy to handle. Her fleece has good fineness for her age, and in her younger days was consistent, medium amplitude crimp from should to rump. She can use some staple length. Zoe's black color is very dominant. She has had 4 solid black crias that have no white on them (twice when bred to fawn). Zoe's 2015 cria "ZigBee" was born 9/10. Pure black, refined, with a gorgeous head. Zoe's 2018 cria arrived 6/11, by Wizzard. All black girl, coal black. We'll try to break that black streak - go for grey with Thunderbolt.

Service Sire: HHWI Marcelino's Peruvian Heatwave

Bundles of fiber!

HHWI Marcelino's Peruvian Heatwave

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 32545128DOB: 7/11/201212 yrs
Heatwave is a beautiful fading fawn animal whose fiber is dense and soft. He's also calm and easy to handle. We used him as a herdsire, but have since acquired a new fawn herdsire and won't need him after this year. Description from Wibotawot Farm: Heatwave is a fiber monster, with tight bundles of zipper-style fleece, extremely dense. He is darker than both of his parents, with a dorsal stripe and fading to lighter in the arm pits and chest. He has a smaller stature, weighing in at 145 lbs. His pedigree is power packed. His full Accoyo sire Don Marcelino (now deceased) is by the great Timoteo. Dam Emma, by Accoyo Goldsmith, was a color champion in her younger days. With bloodlines like that, Heatwave can't go wrong.

We won't be selling Zigbee until after she delivers her cria and maybe even after he or she is weaned. Price does not include cria. We'd like to see Zigbee sell with ZZ and are willing to offer discounts for the two.
