Anticipation is sometimes better than the actual event. That is NOT the case with this star, who is still in the making. We were anxiously awaiting a pregnant MFI Pins and Needle's arrival and were not disappointed. She is out of an all-time favorite female, Ready to Run, and a male I like so much, MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack. The results are plain to see—outstanding phenotype with an even more impressive evenness to her fleece. I love this blanket's handle; its brightness is something to behold. With the colored pedigree in this female, the breeding choices are wide open. Best of all, she carries the MFI name on both sides of her pedigree!! She is extraordinary as she passes her fine genetics onto her crias. PBR Divine World's Bellagio won in 2020 as an AOA National Show Champion at eight months old!!!! And then again in 2021 in PAOBA!
Her sire, MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack, has won reserve champion three times and is in the top 15% for fiber diameter, spin fineness and crimp.MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack, sold in the 2007 Breeder's Choice Auction for $150,000. What makes Jack so unique other than the offspring he is producing? *Perfect phenotype: balanced proportion, erect presence, straight legs, correct bite, gorgeous head, luxurious coverage, rich color, soft handled fleece, tight crimp, tremendous density, long-staple, well-organized bundling, and serious pedigrees with familiar names. Jeronimo S282, Pperuvian Guellerermo, Pperuvian Epifania, and Cperuvian Silvio. Pperuvian Guellermo sired some outstanding progeny on the West Coast; he was unknown until he returned to the United States in 2002.
Her dam, MFI Ready to Run, an incredible bundling fawn, is the daughter of Pperuvian Ramona B4394, producing numerous champions for MFI. MFI Ready to Run's pedigree includes alpacas from the heart of the MFI breeding program, MFI Peruvian Jericho, Peruvian Dakotia and NWA, LTD Jean.
