A Boadicea cria is one of the highlights of the breeding season. “Cea” is the 2000 Reserve Color Black Champion from the AOBA National Conference. We have had many offers to buy her, but retained her for our foundation herd….one of the best decisions we could have made. She has produced four Color Banner cria, including the 4x Color Champion Boudica and two of our herdsires, Casanova’s Crown Prince (MSG) and Highland Oberon (MB). Last year she combined with the 2000 AOBA Blue Ribbon male 5P Santana to produce our beautiful Queen Maeve. True black, dense, consistent crimp from top knot to tail, this little girl is almost a carbon copy of her dam. It’s not very often that we offer a Boadicea female, but Cea has produced another female from the same pairing this year. Maeve is priced well below market value for a TB female with solid genetics and the fiber to go with it. She is bred to the finest fawn on the East Coast, Lancaster's Highland Chieftain. With 17 Blue Ribbons, 8 Banners, and a histogram as a four year old that matches his juvenile numbers, this should be a great pairing for Maeve. This should produce a cria with rich color, championship genetics, and the fiber to make you smile! To get you started with a solid female and the breedings to continue to keep up with the industry, we will include her next breeding in 2011. That covers your major expenses for two years and you can choose from three Nationally recognized award winning herdsires. Won’t that be fun!!
Breeding matters. Don't settle for less than excellent genetics.
