Sweet Breeze is one amazing addition to our breeding program. Breeze is in the 1% club for SD. This will add uniformity to all her offspring. She is presently is bred back to Majestic's Man. We look forward to another offspring of incredible potential. Breeze is out of Herdsire Snow Diamond Ichauway another EPD gifted stud. According to Don Green, "Ichauway is a well built male out of Ivory Lace by Maple Brook Barnabus (a 10X Get-of-Sire winner)". Ichauway's fine, uniform fleece is very bright and features a medium-high-frequency crimp style. Ichauway's 2018 EPD profile is excellent across the board. 5% to 10% in all fineness traits and 25% in staple length. In other words he is better than 75% of all registered alpacas in the EPD program. When we picked up Breeze I looked at Ichauway and I can tell you I would breed back to him in a heartbeat, he is just superb. And, he has the most rare of EPD trifecta, and that is the capacity to improve fineness, SD and Staple Length. Sweet Breeze is one of the best additions to our program. We have worked for several years to increase our foundation's density and now we are working toward uniformity of fineness. Sweet Breeze is just what we were looking for to bring these changes about. Breeze is well conformed, she has good substance of bone and she definitely comes from premier seed stock. Take a look at her amazing EPD trait profile under the EPD icon above. It does not get better than this for seed stock in a foundation herd. We look forward to all our 2022 crias, but especially Breeze. All will prove to be quite competitive in the show ring.

When I saw this beauty stand right after birth, I knew he was special. Even at days old he is compact with so much bone at this young age, it amazed me. Challenge by Defiance is the last cria born out of Snowmass Defiance prior to his export to Europe. Defiance is the only male Lynn Eden found worthy of co-ownership with Snow Diamond Alpacas given her many worthy Herd Sires in her own breeding program. Challenge is out of Snow Diamond Sweet Breeze. A beauty in her own right. Breeze has density upon density. Breeze's EPDs are completely desirable in all fiber trait values. This pairing has created an elite cria destined to become a basis of ours or your future breeding program. Challenge has the perfect AFD to SD trait percentage for fiber density. He has AFD EPD percentile of 10% to an SD percentile of 1%, this ratio is coined by Lynn Eden as a gross estimation of MASD. He is show ready.
