Saona Rose is the first classic rosegrey we had ever produced here on the farm and what a female she has been for our program! Winner of multiple CC and RC ribbons, with the most memorable one as a juvie coming SOOOOO close to even winning the Supreme Female title (equivalent to Judge Choice in Canada). The judge hesitated, came back to see her a couple of times, comparing her to the white and fawn CC and finally gave it to one of the solid light female. We had never seen a classic grey come so close to a Supreme before in Canada and sometimes, as a grey breeder, you just have to take that as a win ;) Just like her dam, Saona is a well built female, displaying heavy bone density with great coverage. Her fiber is absolutely exceptional with wonderfully fine secondaries, very few and fine primaries, has incredible density, great staple length and a high MC. This multiple champion female is part of our top tier classic females and we look forward to many crias from this incredible girl! Saona is bred to Ariya Pure Reserve's Jophiel for a 2023 cria.
