Putting on the Ritz, or Ritzi she is known the farm, Is a medium sized fawn female with correct conformation and bite and fine, very crimpy fiber that translates into beautiful yarn. She matured slowly and so did not place top in her class but was always in the ribbons. Now that she has reached her potential, she is a strong female with good capacity for carrying a pregnancy and delivering cries. Her first cria, a lovely beige female, was born last summer unassisted, surprising us at 6:00 in the morning when we went to check. After a few minutes of initial confusion, Ritzi adjusted to her new situation and has proven to be an attentive and productive mother. Ritzi's genetics are outstanding. Her sire is multi-champion, XXXtreme Xclipse, outstanding herdsire co-owned by Foster Trails and Cabin View Alpacas. and her dam is full Accoyo SunStar. Ritzi is bred to our 11X Champion Conopa Kahuna's Kestrel for a fall cria. We know this cria will be spectacular.
