Bluestreak Rocket is our premium silver grey herdsire. He has an impressively diverse pedigree that is new to the west coast and Southern California area. Rocket is out of the silverstone bloodline and his sire is a champion multiple times over. Rocket demonstrates a dense fleece on a strong, sturdy frame. His lock structure is long and consistent with great luster. His blanket is abundant, shows uniformity, and consistency even to the top of his hip. A SHIP evaluation was performed on Rocket and he received top notch remarks for a grey boy. He has low micron and fineness which is remarkable for a grey suri. He will improve your grey pedigrees and give you a bump up in the grey spectrum. On top of his wonderful fleece and confirmation, he has the sweetest temperament and is easy to handle. Rocket's first cria were born this summer and they are quiet remarkable. He produced a rose grey boy with silver grey ears and a stunning light silver grey female. Both cria exhibit excellent lock structure, luster, and confirmation. Rocekt has three cria on the way for summer of 2019 and we are expecting an abundance of grey! He is currently available for breeding.

Gone but not forgotten

Platinum's Victoria of SNR

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 32831771DOB: 9/18/201410 yrs
This girl was an extraordinarily nice medium silver grey. She had nice density and set herself above with great luster! Her color referred to as shiny sterling or platinum by those that saw her. Even though her tips are white, she produced a beautiful medium silver grey yarn. Victoria's sire, Platinum Marquis was an astounding grey producer. Her dam also has some nice genetics to her name - Bet on Black by Prince Greystone. We had acquired her just before spring show season and after showing her at the California Classic, we decided not to transport her for anymore shows that year and let her do a little more growing. Needless to say she grew up very nicely and I soon was referring to her as Va Va Voom, Victoria. We had her fleece processed into yarn and it truly turned out amazing! Silky and slick with that cool handle and shiny, the kind that does a suri owner proud regardless of color. Admittedly, I expected her histogram to be nicer, but being on the road and considering issues with changing hay sources that year, we will go by what we see and feel in person. She took a first at the California Classic and Great Western. Then again At CABA in Oregon. Top level shows & competition --Atta girl! Way to finish off your show career. Her first cria by GLR Armani, an absolute knock out! I always thought if I had to pick owning only one alpaca, Victoria would likely be it. Then thankfully, along came her daughter - aka Victory Dance! A repeat breed didn't take so we stepped out and chose a phenomenal grey guy owned by Alfaro Family Farms - SD Silver stone's Bluestreak Rocket. He has beautiful conformation and fleece and they gave us another beautiful grey girl! Last season we chose a sire of amazing density WI The Admiral. Tragically we lost Victoria and her beautiful dark grey baby in late gestation, due to severe peritonitis. We thank Victoria for gracing us with her presence and the two beautiful daughters she has left here on earth with us. May her and that beautiful baby rest in peace and green pastures.

RGSA SICARIO

I just fell in love with Sicario the 1st time I saw him. After 24 years in the alpaca business I am not easily taken in, but he just took my breath away. At 7 months old he looked like he was sitting in a cascading puddle of silky fleece and he had the most adorable face I'd ever seen. I was smitten. Sicario put most of his energy into his fleece his 1st 2 years but continued to be successful in the show ring , and now is a big strapping guy and breeding successfully. Sicario's crias are on the ground now and they are gorgeous! Silky, high luster, with dad's gorgeous head style and straight build. So far they have followed the dam's color-- from light fawn to true black. I am offering a 50% ownership of Sicario since my colored herd is quite small. This would be a great opportunity for anyone looking for Goldstar and Bronson bloodlines.

Description

While you try not to have favorites, this girl's momma, Victoria was so eye-catching - we just loved her color and luster!! We were so excited to have a grey girl from this nice pairing that it felt like winning. Hence her name, Victorious Win by SD Silverstone's Bluestreak Rocket. Now that her mother prematurely passed away she is even more special to us. We have seen what this girl's daddy has produced and the lock structure in the color(s) grey and even brown has been phenomenal. Seriously check out this girl's sire, SD Silverstone's Blue Streak Rocket. He is a Silverstone son which are great genetics on the east coast paired with some of our favorite genetics Captain Morgan, MFI Jalila on the dams side. He ranked well with the suri herd evaluator, beautiful, strong conformation and fine fleece exhibiting luster. He is not owned by us but by Alfaro Family Farms and resides at Windy Hill. Rocket's got the whole package in grey. If you are breeding for that elusive, yet quality grey, we think this is the guy to go to. Needless to say, this girl is part of our foundation. We did not get a chance to show her because of Covid but this girl is a star to us and can't wait to see what her future holds. Summer 2022 she gave us a gorgeous grey girl by GLR Armani and was a wonderful attentive mother. We recently bred her to RGSA Sicario and are excited to see what they may produce
