Snowmass Royal Challenge is sired by the 2004 Futurity Fawn Male Color Champion Snowmass Royal Challenger one of the most impactual fawn males in both Snowmass Alpaca's and Tripping Gnome Farm's colored breeding programs. Snowmass Royal Challenge has followed in his sire’s footsteps from the beginning of his career by taking a first as a juvenile at the 2006 Futurity. At the 2007 Futurity, Snowmass Royal Challenge would take the blue in his yearling class and the 2007 Futurity Light Fawn Male Color Champion. He would finish his show career as a 2 year old with a first place at the 2008 AOBA National Show. Snowmass Royal Challenge embodies the classical Snowmass look with a full wool cap and great phenotype. His fleece is out of this world with unbelievable density, great architecture from skin to tip, and a soft fine handle. A pre-potent herdsire as he has passed these characteristics on to his offspring he has already produced multi -color champions in his daughters. Not only did he get championship genetics from his father, but his dam Snowmass Andean Sky won first place at the 2004 Futurity as a medium fawn juvenile female. Her strong color genetics from her sire Snowmass Andean Bronze and her dam 6 Peruvian Cambria has allowed Snowmass Royal Challenge to produce several brown color champions. We are truly indebted to Don and Julie Skinner for entrusting Snowmass Royal Challenge to us. It was this opportunity that has allowed our farm to consistently produce champion caliber cria.
