2021 Magneto turned 19 in September. HE is still a handsome guy. We have used him as a herdsire this year for 2 of our girls. His 2021 micron count is up a little to 23.7. Still not bad for his age! 2020 Although, still able to sire crias, Magneto has had a rest the past few years. He has lasting fiber fineness with a 22.5 micron count for 2020. He has a very calm disposition , gets along well with the other guys. Because of his age and short fiber, we are selling him as a companion alpaca. But isn't he such a handsome guy still? Some of his cria are listed here. ANDiROBA DOB 8/22/2016 LF, Dam JOEY'S STARGAZER LILLY ANDIRA DOB 10/9/2014, DBr Dam JOEY'S STARGAZER LILLY. HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Fawn
AOA# 31108089DOB: 12/23/200816 yrs
On August 24, 2013, Lilly arrived at our ranch. She possesses excellent conformation, soft-handled fiber, and a great disposition. We bred her for the first time in October 2013 to our herdsire, FR Magneto, for a 2014 cria. Over the years, Lilly has produced some exceptional cria for Sawdust Alpacas. Some of them have been winners in shows, while others were not entered. However, all of Lilly's crias have had great conformation, bone density, and nice fiber, as well as inheriting their mother's quiet disposition. Some of Lilly's crias are now living on other farms in different states, with one even residing on the Hawaiian island of Maui! Lilly, being the oldest of our females, has lost a couple of teeth. However, she is still maintaining her weight through eating well and producing very nice, ribbon-winning crias. 10/5/24 Lilly has given birth to a beautiful 15.3 pound female cria. Sire is Sawdusts Almond Thunder. Lilly and her cria will be going home to their new owners soon.
