Full ownership in Orlando is now available. See Orlando in motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSagJk4leNs How many gray herdsires are out there who have produced offspring winning over 80 BANNERS, over 160 BLUE RIBBONS, and still producing CHAMPIONS? Orlando Cloud is a stunning male who has without a doubt helped boost the quality of gray huacayas to new heights. So often a male shines for a few years, and then is overtaken by higher quality. Not so with Orlando. In 2008 his offspring began winning top honors, and since then at almost every large show his offspring, and now grand kids and great grand kids, continue to bring home banners and blues. Gray Alpaca Co. recently had four Orlando offspring in a row, and this group is simply outstanding. We can't wait to see them in the show ring. At the October Empire Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY, his offspring won two CHAMPIONSHIPS, including Gray Championship in fleece, and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP, along with 4 Blue Ribbons. He continues to stamp out high quality crias. Orlando's accomplishments are many, and he was named HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013, and 2014. This award is based on the number of points accrued by winning offspring at MAPACA, to date the largest show in 2013. Here is the new standard for gray! Orlando stands above the rest with his consistent, dense architecture from his tail to his topknot. The judges have raved about this male from the time he hit the show circuit, and his offspring are now following in his footsteps with multiple Championships and Reserve Championships. When bred to gray or black his cria's colors have been primarily gray, and he has also shown the ability to throw gray out of fawn. Orlando's stud fee is $5,000, with generous discounts for drive by breedings. For details please contact Nancy at [email protected] or Jeff at [email protected]. Offspring Show Wins Update: Orlando offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Audrey is on of the most handsome females in my barn and a TOTAL hoot. She can undo the most complex of door fasteners and is often the first girl to greet me when I come out to feed. She has beautiful cria. A Michelangelo daughter - her fleece is fine and bright. She is a great mom; lots of milk and super attentive. I won two daughters of Audreys and both are keepers. One Liza Cloud by Orlando Cloud; a Color Champion in her own right And two, born summer of 2019; Modern Jane (pictured) Dad is Bea-2 Bomber I am SO EXCITED about Mod - lavender fleece, spotless, insanely bright and crimpy EKE!!! Mod was sold to Mule Train - our good friends, Anji and Udo. Keep an eye out. I think Audrey will be bred to Bomber again this summer. Cant wait to see what she does next!

Description

Some females just simply stand above the rest. That is Liza. The spitting image of her dad - The duly famous Orlando Cloud. Liza holds steady with a 19/20 micron fleece with a definitive density. She is solid in conformation. Solid bone. Big but has a compact frame. She rules. Her first son is Jackson. A boy I will be using in 2022 across multiple females. He is also big boned with ample super fine crimpy fleece. We didn't successfully breed Liza for a couple of years while moving which is a loss we felt. Liza was confirmed pregnant to Sonic Shift 2021 for a 2022 cria and we couldnt be more excited. Liza is a keeper. Im devastated to report that we lost Liza in a really really difficult birth. Im keeping her here in my herd because that is where she belongs. We lost a gorgeous animal this year. Sometimes this life is very very challenging. Rest in peace sweet girl.
