A beautiful 44 month old LSG fleece at 20 microns! We were really blown away when we first saw this young male. His fleece is what anyone breeding for fine fleece is looking for. He has a perfectly spotless fleece that actually looks Rose Gray in some light and Silver Gray in others. Carderock has won Fleece Championships 2 years in a row at AOBA Nationals and just this March 2014 at the AOA World Fleece Show. As a 2 year old he is still exhibiting extremely fine fleece with amazing staple length. Carderock is proving that gray is a color he can reproduce. Hayley was up and running within minutes of birth. She's been strong, straight and proud ever since. She is the first cria out of our Black Warrior and she has guaranteed his frequent use in the future. She quite possibly has the nicest fleece we've ever seen on the farm. She is a definite show prospect for us in 2016. Oct 18 Update: Hayley just gave birth to a lovely dark brown boy out of Carderock. This first time mom is really rockin it. Unassisted birth and great mothering skills. That's all you can hope for! 2021: Hayley gave birth to a minimally spotted boy out of XXXtreme Spots. His fleece is dense like his dad's. 2023: This year's cria out of Klondike is a taupey brown with a band around his neck and white up to his hip on the hind left. So incredibly cute!
