GLR Blackout is a son of 2010 Herdsire of the Year, Shavano, and GLR Amelita, the dam of National Champion, GLR Kolaqua. Blackout at his very first show earned MAPACA Color Champion and Judge's Choice male. Judge's Choice to a black??? I know!!! He then earned a second place as the youngest in a class of 12 at the 2011 Futurity, placing right behind the Color Champion. On his one year birthday he was declared the 2011 Black National Color Champion!!! Blackout has that fine, super dense, consistent lock we admire from Shavano. He has striking presence, proportion, conformation, and a deep, colorful pedigree of Shavano, Condor, and Alita. Blackout's crias are maroon, bay black, true black, grey, grey appaloosa. Kenora's lines include Synergy, Kenamari and Liberator. Starlord is a handsome fella for sure! He was The Suri Networks All Suri Fleece Show Suri Light Male Color Champion in 2018 and also took 1st in several shows in 2018, 2019 and 2020. So much luster and lock structure, even on his neck and legs!! He also has beautiful head and body conformation. He is a fawn (with a small grey spot on his side), however his sire is a harlequin grey (ABF Riptide's Alexander) so there is a strong possibility of Starlord throwing grey crias. We hope he passes down his strong structure and color to his offspring. Starlords Grandsire JAX ACCOYO RIPTID is in the Top 5% EPDs and was 2006 OABA Alpacafest Fleece Suri Fawn Color Champion and 2005 AOBA National Alpaca Show Suri Fawn Male Fleece Color Champion.
