HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 35278634DOB: 10/25/201311 yrs
There's a lot to like about this youngster. He's got a well proportioned, sturdy conformation and gorgeous fleece which we have every reason to believe will hold it's fineness. Mom. Midnight Kiss, is 21.4 micron at her 4th shear, which is not appreciably different than the 20.9 at her first shear. She also has superior biopsy stats which she comes quite naturally. Check out all his paternal aunts in black, none of which we have yet let go...and Midnight Kiss...she just made full brother RR Dante's Inferno. Check him out and see why I wouldn't hesitate to put Cisero on grey. (Our biopsies are listed by sire on our website) Dad is RR Gun's Kit Carson who has infused our herd with outstanding fineness in grey and black and at 5 years of age boasts a histogram of 21.3/ 3.8/ 17.8 and CF 98.1%...not to mention 100mm length! He's done well in the ring. He has excellent metrics in black, particularly as seen in the fiber populations in the skin biopsy and an exquisite fiber length. Neither we, nor the judges have identified white fibers in the blanket. He is conformationally solid. Biopsy by Ian Watt aug/2015: Density: 56.6/mm Secondary:Primary fiber ratio: 9.4:1 In-Skin primary fiber diameter: 24.0 micron SD 3.2 " secondary " : 18.9 micron SD 2.4 2014 Histogram: 19.31/4.62/23.91/98.15. 2015: 22.36/3.93/17.14/ 96.87 Length 110 mm (!)

Patagonia's Tormenta is a stunning true black female out of Patagonia's Admiral. She is soft, shiny and crimpy. Tormenta continues to produce one beautiful cria after another. She throws predominantly black. She is great mom and has plenty of milk. Thank you and Congratulations to Dee and Adria Graham of D.L. Farms on your purchase of Tormenta and her female cria.

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 35095309DOB: 7/22/20168 yrs
Silver Lining struck my eye when he took first place in a large juvie class at the 2017 Buckeye Alpaca Show. I liked him so much we decided to purchase him with our friends Todd and Holly Jacobs of Alpacas in the Glen at the next show, Mapaca Jubillee. Silver Lining is a striking male who is solid silver grey, which really appealing to us. He has a uniform staple throughout the staple and then front to back. Silver Lining has had several crias, all silver grey or black. They are dense, uniform and have a stunning head style. Please see photos. We have an up and coming herdsire Steel Revere, so at this time we are offering Silver Lining for sale. His background is almost all grey, so if you looking for an easy to breed grey male this is your Stud! Congratulations and thank you to David Rose on your purchase of Silver Lining!

Description

2020 Update-Congratulations to Roseann Glommeau of Long Valley, NJ on your purchase of Carly. Carly is a robust female with a superfine black fleece. She is the progeny of a sire who we used extensively on our farm to produce black, RR Cicero. He is now owned by D.L. Farms of Canada. He continues to show in halter and fleece in Canada and garner championships. Carly is bred for Summer 2020 cria. We have chosen her for grey production. Her fine fleece attributes are very complementary to our dense, uniform grey male, Silver Lining, and we have chosen to breed her to him.
