PATAGONIA'S MARINELLA Patagonia's Marinella was the Brown Color Champion at Alpacapalooza in 2013 and won several blue ribbons in 2013-2014. She was assessed by Judge Amanda VandenBosch as an A- with strong points in all areas of conformation; as well as areas of fiber including fineness and handle, uniformity of micron, density, brightness, lack of medullation and coverage. Marinella's sire, Patagonia's Gaucho, is sired by the exotic Neruda who sold at auction for $200,000+ at the age of 8 years. Alpacas de la Patagonia stated, "Gaucho’s dam is one of our top true black females and descends from our top black female line. From this line, have come our most successful black alpacas such as Queen, Black Rose, Sombra, and Simone to name a few. All of these girls have won multiple black championships at level 5 shows and have all been AOBA National black color champions.
