Proudly co-owned with Laurel Ridge. Because David Nopper does such phenomenal write-ups on his animals, we asked permission to share his write-up for Poseidon. "When we went in search for a Stud to compliment our breeding program we had a specific criteria and Poseidon's Storm ticked the boxes. One of our favorite Studs of all time is Snowmass Royal Rose. He is a Hemingway crossed with MSG Dam line. So our search started there and it ended with Poseidon's Storm aka "Master P". Stay with me here ... it may get confusing ( :-) ) or skip to the summary at the bottom: Dam (Trillium) is a lined Hemingway Daughter - you can't see it on the ARI but Balche, way back there, is (Hemingway / P. Frida). So that puts Hemingway on both sides of Trillium's lineage. What's interesting is that Poseidon's Dam line, even with the Hemingway dilution gene, allowed a lot of color to pass through to the off-spring. It's there in the registry to view! On his Sire side, you have top EPD performers, MSG & MRG genetics with some TB thrown in. Totora (Poseidon's Sire) has an excellent Get of Sire record and his overall show record will knock your socks off. Inti-Sapa's Sunrise is an EPD 1%'er and multiple category 5%'er Luciano was a top MRG Stud w/ 137 registered Cria, many of which were show awarded. Poseidon Storm aka "Master P" has not only a beautiful fleece, which is dense & bundled ... But, it's also showing lingering fineness. A trait that goes back to his Dam side, Hemingway roots. Take a look at his histogram ... not just the MC but equally important his SD & CV numbers from 2016 & 2017. When his fleece is processed into yarn, it has this silky slick hand - it's really something. Long and short of it, we didn't realize we'd fine such a great Stud so close to home, but we did. In Summary: We did our homework so you don't have to. This boy is something and he's going to prove us right. We're breeding him to many of our top females this coming year. You can get in on his introductory fee since his first babies will be arriving in 2018. There is a discount offered for drive-by breedings. We'll have Cria to view toward the end of Summer .... come by and visit us!" HISTOGRAM (Lingering Fineness): 2017: 20.8 / 3.7 / 16.6 / - 3 years old 2016: 22.0 / 3.5 / 16.9 - 2 years old Poseidon's yearling crias are looking absolutely fantastic! Both of his daughters on our farm are conformationally stunning and have amazingly soft and crimpy fiber! Both our farm and Laurel Ridge have decided to put Posiedon up for sale since we each have several new herdsires we are using and we already have beautiful offpsring from him!

Service Sire: Annual's Bea-2 Bomber

The one and only!

Annual's Bea-2 Bomber

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Rose Grey
AOA# 31936064DOB: 5/5/201014 yrs
2019 was the year that we have been planning to "stack" our herdsire row with amazing males to further our program. So when the opportunity came along to own a share of this phenomenal impact male, we jumped at the chance! Bomber is in Central Oregon from July to early November yearly. He's THE BOMB!! AS OF MAY 2019, BOMBER KIDS HAVE GARNERED 46 BANNERS!!! AND THE GRAND KIDS HAVE ENTERED THE RACE, WITH TWO THIS YEAR SO FAR! The WHOLE PACKAGE... consistency, fineness, density, in beautiful rose grey. Bomber's sire, Aussie .38 Special, is one of the premier grey herd sires in the US. Bomber is the best of the next generation. His dam, Beatriz, can safely be called an impact dam. All of her progeny have Color Championships. Bea maintains a 24.3 AFD/3.9 SD and 15.9 CV at age 12!!!! Bomber's show career started off with a bang. He stepped into the ring at his first show at the A-OK Blast Off, and won his first COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP! After that there was no stopping him ... He wowed the judges at AOBA Nationals 2011 in Denver, and was awarded the COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP! His fleece was compared in quality to elite whites. Then he repeated his success at 2012 Nationals... Taking Color Champion in Halter AND then icing on the cake... Reserve Color Champion Fleece, to his sire, .38 Special's Color Championship!!! Golly, what a day!!! Now retired from the show ring, he was truly a formidable contender. And the wins continue ... his kids are in the ring... at 2016 Futurity, his daughter, Avery was CC and Judge's Choice, his son, Dauntless was CC at Nationals, at 2015 GWAS his daughter was grey CC, his son was grey CC and another daughter was RCC in brown. These kudos were added to those of his East Coast progeny. Championships.... they're the family business! Proudly co-owned with Annie Hunt of Willow Wind Farm in Berthoud, CO.
