Dense, dense, dense!

OAF Accoyo Shakira

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 32114911DOB: 9/1/201014 yrs
We have decided to downsize our foundation herd after our move, and are only parting with Shakira because we have decided to keep her two daughters Gretel and Aurora, and also her grand daughter Phoebe in the herd. She doesn't look like much anymore, but she is a dynamite producer. She will sell with a breeding to any of our males, but we would suggest Skyline's Xavier to improve fineness and staple length. *Disclaimer- She does have an "off bite" due to an injury when she was young, so she requires dental work every other year. But it is an injury and not something that is passed to her offspring. EXTREME DENSITY! Need density in your breeding program? This girl has the densest fleece I've ever seen! Shakira is a full Peruvian full Accoyo fabulous girl. Her frame is strong and well balanced, and her personality delightfully sweet. Shakira delivered a beautiful white girl out of MLR Dynamite, a fabulous Full Peruvian Accoyo male. She took 1st place the first and only time she was shown in a highly competitive white class at the Alpacapalooza show in 2011 class. She also took 1st place spinoff at AlpacaPalooza in 2013. Her daughter Gretel took 1st place in a tough class of 7 at Alpacamania, 1st place and high score at Alpacamania fleece show, and 1st at AAWO's spin off. Shakira hit it out of the park for us in 2018 with the delivery of a stunning light brown female cria. Shakira is currently bred to Skyline's Xavier for a 2022 cria and has spit off twice. Will update her listing as "bred" once she is confirmed via ultrasound.

Description

It's not often that a cria comes along that is EXACTLY what you pictured when you bred the parents. Well, Aurora is just that! She has the softest, most dense fiber of any cria we have ever had born on the farm. Not only that, but the brightness and crimp on this girl is to die for! She is also already displaying the personality traits that make both of her parents favorites on the farm. She is calm, confident and curious. We can't wait to see how this lovely girl does during her 2019 show debut!
