WINGMAN IS SOLD AND NOW BACK IN THE USA! Although he is no longer with us, we are keeping him in our herdsire list as reference as he has profoundly impacted the quality of our herd! Wingman is definitely the best male we have added to our grey herd sire lineup! From the moment we saw him and laid our hands in his fiber, we knew he was very special and could surely contribute in many different ways to our grey breeding program. We feel confident in saying that he is one of the most complete grey male in all of Eastern Canada and his first crop of crias is absolutely incredible! Wingman’s sire is none other than Bea-2 Bomber (.38 Special) one of the most influential grey males in almost a decade in the USA and his True Black Dam is out of the Macusani lineage. Wingman has a typey, compact frame that packs on a ton of beautiful light silver grey fiber exhibiting fineness, uniformity, density and brightness. HIs fiber also has a well-defined crimp with nice amplitude and an amazing staple length for age. He did very well in the show rings in both the USA and Canada. Now that his show career is over, we have him focusing on breeding! Although he has started his breeding career, Wingman remains easy to handle and is calm demeanor has been passed onto his offspring. They are a charm to train and handle and they are exhibiting all of Wingman’s amazing fleece traits. He has produced beautiful head styles and compact frames. We are truly over the moon with his first crias and we look forward to many more out of this exquisite grey male! CONGRATULATIONS to FLEECY DALE ALPACAS for adding this amazing sire to their herd! Wingman has profoundly transformed our grey breeding program and although we are sad to see him leave our farm, we are absolutely trilled that his legacy will continue on in another grey program in the United States. We know he will be in good hands and we will be keeping an eye on what he will be producing south of the border!

Sierra is a gorgeous medium size light fawn with a ton of fiber! Density, fineness, uniformity and great crimp definition. Her dam Sati has given us many crias exhibiting some of our best fleeces. Sierra has done very well in the show ring as a juvie and yearling, winning a Color Championship in Light and 1st places in though classes. We are excited to have her included in our grey breeding program as we discovered that this fawn girl covers black! Her first cria, Shadow, turned out to be a LSG so we can easily guess her genotype to be either an eeaa or eeAa. Either way, we will continue working with this amazing female in our grey program and we look forward to many more exceptional crias out of this award winning girl!

Description

Serenade is a compact little girl packing on a ton a beautiful fleece! She has great substance of bone and a beautiful head style. Her color champion dam Sierra (XXXtreme line) is one of our best solid colored foundation female who has produced some of our most amazing crias, all of them being grey when bred to grey! As soon as she was born, we knew Serenade was something special with all those long extra curly locks. Her color was a bit of a mystery as a cria as she carried the typical tuxedo pattern from her classic grey sire Wingman (Bomber). Her extremities were clearly rosegrey but the rose wasn’t quite coming into her blanket so we registered her as fawn. As a yearling and now with her 3rd fleece coming in, her blanket is clearly greying out so as first expected, she is truly a classic MRG! Serenade showed in fawn as a juvie in 2019 which clearly put her at a disadvantage and with all shows being cancelled in 2020, we did not have the opportunity to show her in grey as a yearling. Despite all this, this girl is truly special and has the potential of throwing amazing greys when bred accordingly!
