Perfect Storm's dam is Snowmass Matrix Perfection, a Snowmass Matrix daughter and full-sister to Snowmass Matrix Belvedere. Perfect Storm was awarded the 2017 AOA National Best Bred & Owned Male banner, and has many other Bred & Owned and Championship wins to his name, respectfully. He acquired the best traits of his parents, including fineness (which is lasting), excellent consistency, brightness, density and a high-frequency crimp that is well-defined and uniform throughout. We found this Beautiful White girl at the Priority Auction in Las Vegas in 2017. She is a solid producer, gorgeous crimp, and multi-ribbon holder. She came with a cria at her side—Alpaca Palace's Zinger. LOOK who she was bred to for an August 2017 cria. HOUDINI!! What a prize. MAPLE DOB 8/23/2017 Beige. A champion in the making!! Maple was sold at the Futurity Auction 2018 to Peter and Susan Goodwin of Foster Trails Alpacas and has done well in shows since then. We do miss her. We were just informed that MAPLE took Reserve Champion at PAOBA. How exciting! Cookie was bred to PERFECT STORM, a DEFIANCE son. We are very pleased with this pairing, due in February 2019. Keep your eye on this one!! COOKIIE'S cria came on 2/15/2019, named GARRYANA (an OR white oak wood). All white with a superb handle, fleece, and confirmation. A banner winner is definitely in the show ring! Oct 2020 update Cookie was confirmed pregnant by ultrasound, due in 2021. Picked up and home now! We are excited to have been able to repeat our previous breeding of Cookie to Perfect Storm. Update: Unfortunately, Cookie lost her cria to premature birth. We will rebreed her this fall.

Taupie is our handsome up-and-coming appaloosa herdsire. He has a spotted face, spotted feet, spotted legs, and several spots throughout his blanket. His topline is a nice medium rose grey, then blending into light rose grey down the sides to a beige belly. Under his chin and on his belly and legs are rich, dark fawn, appaloosa spots. He is very crimpy, quite dense, and extremely cute! He has a super long staple length, with high frequency, medium amplitude crimp, and extreme brightness (looks like mother of pearl!). His coverage is massive, from his full, Accoyo head style, to his tree trunk legs with fleece right down to the hooves! His heritage--from Aussie Rockford (with Hannahruh), Socosani, and Chiquita--is full of appaloosa genetics. Crossing him with our other appaloosa lines should produce a whole new era of appaloosas, allowing our herd to continue to be the "Go to" place for appaloosa huacaya genetics.

Her genetics is very descriptive of her. With SNOWMASS DEFIANCE, ELITE LEGEND and MATRIX on the top end. SA PERUVIAN WHAT'S COOKING, MFG EAGLE and PPERVIAN VENGADOR G4568, to name a few on the bottom. Her confirmation and fiber is stunning, very active, a perfect example of our herd. She will definitely be in a future show string. Quercus garryana is an oak tree species with a range stretching from southern California to southwestern British Columbia. It is commonly known as the Oregon white oak or Oregon oak in the United States and as the Garry oak in Canada. It grows from sea level to 210 meters (690 ft) altitude in the northern part of its range, and at 300 to 1,800 meters (980 to 5,910 ft) in the south of the range in California. The eponymous Nicholas Garry was deputy governor of the Hudson's Bay Company, 1822–35. Garryana has been bred to Vintage Cashmere's U-Taupe-Ia (Taupie) for a 2023 cria 4/13/23 Garryana is confirmed by ultrasound to be pregnant and due October 2023. Unfortunately, Garryana lost her cria. We will try to re-breed here soon.
