Thank you to Diane Sheesley of Rainbow Mountain Alpacas for being a co-owner of this spectacular appy male! Fusion is now residing and standing stud at her farm in Punxsutawney, PA. We were excited to purchase this beautiful male from the well-respected grey suri breeding program at Shasta Springs Alpacas. Fusion is definitely "eye candy", and when you see him you will want to breed to him, too. He has a gentle nature, strong solid conformation, and exquisite appaloosa coloring. He continues to get darker and darker in coloration with each shearing like his sire, who is now a dark grey in color. He is a large, weighing in at 185 lbs. He was shorn at 1 year old, and his 1st fleece weighed 6 lbs. with a 3.4 lb blanket, and was 9" in length. It has been shown and won Reserve Champion Grey Suris at the 2012 Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show, the largest suri fleece show in the world! Diana Timmerman, AOA Fleece Judge for the Suri Network, commented that his "Fleece is showing good luster and softness for a grey." Fusion had 8 crias born in 2016, producing 4 males and 4 females, producing 75% appaloosas from a variety of color dams! Check out his crias: Kazmere (m, appy), JackKnife (m, appy), Harley Quinn (m, harlequin), Vanity (f, appy), Prismatic (f, appy), Quinn (m, solid color), Tootsie Pop (f, solid color), and Ebony's cria (f, appy). WRSR Zanzibar by Fusion, his latest 2022 appy cria is a beautiful harlequin appy male. Watch for him at the shows in 2023! Deceased, but left us a gorceous cria

WRSR Karina by Razor

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 32805994DOB: 6/1/201311 yrs
Perfect compact proportions on a frame with heavy bone makes this little girl pleasing to the eye, but in a smaller size. Karina weighed in at only 37 lbs at 1 year old when she arrived at our farm, but put on over 60 lbs in 9 months. Her fleece is beautifully soft and slick, with high luster and independent locking. To top it off, she has a great, easy-going personality and produced a 2.3 lb blanket from that tiny frame of only 42 lbs when she was shorn! Karina is by our WRSR Accoyo Razor, one of our top producers of density and high luster. Razor has the disposition and natural showy presence that we all covet in our breeding programs. His crias are farm favorites, as they are gentle, friendly, and curious. His crias perform well in the show ring in all classes, from the largest halter show and fleece shows in the country, to winning the most difficult performance and obstacle courses. Razor is an all-around stud that passes on his high luster, and zig-zag wavy locking. His crias win fleece shows because of their fineness, uniformity, and fleece weight, as Razor annually shears at least 8 lbs of fiber even at age 12. He is a fiber machine! Razor has produced crias from dark to light. Karina's dam is AIA Moonshadow Pixie, a beautiful classy dark fawn female bred by retired breeder Virginia Lentz. Pixie was awarded a 1st Place in the 2015 MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show for her fleece shorn at 5 years old in 2014. Judy Keske, Judge, comments were "Beautiful color and handle, especially for age." Karina began her show career in the Previously Shorn classes (3"-11" growth) for the 2015 shows. She was awarded Reserve Champion at the 2015 Carolina Alpaca Show, and won Reserve Champion in fleece at the 2015 MAPACA Jubilee, too! What a great showing with recognition of her fineness, luster, and density. Karina is now proven with the delivery of her 2016 female cria, Sweet Dreams. Sweet Dreams is by SBS Stingray and is a deep maroon with black points. She has an extremely fine fleece like her sire, and solid conformation and was sold. She has been bred to our appy herd sire Shasta Springs Fusion for a late April cria. She was ultrasounded positive for pregnancy on 6/12/17. Karina delivered her cria with much assistance on 4/29/18, a gorgeous grey/fawn appy female, "Memory". Karina prolasped her uterus twice and died 2 days later from infection and kidney failure. Such a loss of a beautiful and sweet female. We are very sad, but she left us with a phenomenal cria to remember her by, WRSR Karin's Memory by Fusion. AOA# 31510387DOB: 12/3/200816 yrs
Kaz is a proven fancy herd sire. He is a great breeding male and has plenty cria to show for it. What a herdsire. Kamikaze is a beautfiul lustrous fancy. His fleece has density and luster. He has a easy going personality to boot. We are in love with his unusual coloring. Kamikaze has a lid back personality and is very friendly with people and other alpacas. Our first Kamikaze cria is a fancy. He has silver grey ears and face. Bay black& dark brown in his blanket. One white leg, just like Kamikaze. We cannot wait to see the others we are due to have this year! Update 2017 - Newest app cria- Bomber. Beautiful app. Very hard to get pictures to see his coloring. His dam is also an app. If you breed for multi's or ape's, Kaz is the breeding male you want.

Description

Memory is a very special female for us. She is the product of our Razor daughter, Karina, that died 2 days after Memory was born after prolapsing her uterus twice. It was a very sad day, but her dam Karina left us with her beautiful legacy. Memory was adopted by Hailey, a maiden who delivered her first cria Kissimmee on the same day as Karina. Memory and Kissimmee are inseparable "sisters" and Hailey nursed them both until they were weaned. Memory exhibits a very dense fleece with beautiful spots on a grey background like her sire. She has the sweetest, friendliest personality and is the hallmark of our appaloosa breeding program. Memory comes from a line of Champions with fine fleeces and high fleece weights. Her dam, WRSR Karina by Razor, is the daughter of champion AIA Mooonshadow Pixie and WRSR Accoyo Razor, who has produced offspring that won over 4 Judge's Choice Awards and over 30 Championships. Her fleece was exquisite with small rick-rack locks and amazing fineness and uniformity. Her sire, Shasta Springs Fusion, is a grey appaloosa with big fawn spots across his entire body - very unusual and beautiful! He has an easy-going personality even when breeding and passes those characteristics onto his offspring. Memory is one of the sweetest, most loving alpacas on the farm. Memory is bred to WRSR Peruvian Kamikaze for an April 2022 cria.
