Serengeti is the offspring of our multiple champion and champion producer, WRSR Accoyo Razor, our foundation herd sire for many years. Serengeti is the product of several top Accoyo bloodlines including Bruxo, Uribe, Accoyo Gold, and Accoyo Baccarat. He also has a very interesting dark color background with Royal Damasco (DB), Black Icon (TB), and Outlaw Jax (TB). Serengeti's dam, Icon's Golden Girl (alias "Gidget") has beautiful uniform dark fawn fleece in both micron and color. She possesses very correct conformation, is heavy-boned, and is covered head to toe in fiber. WRSR Accoyo Razor, his sire, also has a very solid conformation with good bone, and he is also covered head to toe in fiber. He has shorn between 8-10 lbs of fiber per year, although he is slowing up now and shearing 6.5 lbs at age 14. Razor passes his very high luster and rick-rack lock style, along with his density. It appears that Serengeti has inherited these fiber traits from him. Both sire and dam have great production characteristics, with good milking, good mothering, settling quickly, and easy birthing. Serengeti has a nice personality and is great on a lead in the show ring and has 5 Championships. He has great presence whether in the pasture or show ring, and is very alert and curious. He was the FAWN COLOR CHAMPION at the 2012 Suri Network Fleece Show. We were extremely pleased when Serengeti was awarded COLOR CHAMPION at the very competitive Royal Alpaca Challenge in his 2ND FLEECE, and his fleece continues to win top awards. We are thrilled with Hailey! She has a wonderful friendly personality, beautiful fleece, and comes from lines of multiple champions, including Accoyo Allegiance, Avanti, MacGyver's Balboa, and many champions from Park View Alpacas. She, herself was awarded RESERVE CHAMPION at her 1st show, the 2015 Carolina Alpaca Show! In addition, she won the Black Color Championship at the 2015 AOA National Fleece Show! Hailey has beautiful slick, drapey fleece, luster like a shining light, and above average density. Her dam, Black Swan, is the daughter of a long line of champions, and is herself a Champion. She is the daughter of MacGyver's Balboa, a true black who racked up 16 Championships in his show career. Black Swan's dam is the grey Silvana of PVA, a champion herself who has never placed lower than 2nd. Silvana's sire is Montoya of PVA, and her grand sire is Mahogany Prince of PVA, another multiple champion. Her grand sire, SL Accoyo Allegiance, was conceived at our farm from a full Accoyo female we sold, and repurchased when he was only 4 months old. Allegiance has gone on to win multiple fleece championships, and still produces multi-champion offspring like Avanti. Hailey was bred to WRSR Serengeti by Razor inn 2017 and delivered a beautiful light brown female cria, "WRSR Kissimmee by Serengeti" on 4/29/18. Kissimmee is everything we hoped for in a cria with super high luster, rick-rack locking, and density. To top it off, she has the sweetest personality, too.
