Truly an exceptional male in so many ways! From pedigree to conformation, fleece, and even temperament, he is herdsire material through and through. Iceberg's sire is our very own Snowmass Monarch's Majesty, a superb fibre and cria producer by 6Peruvian Monarch, (sire of Snowmass Sub-Zero) with Peruvian Hemingway, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite, and 6Peruvian Casa Blanca listed on his dam's side. Monarch's Majesty has consistently given us cria with high frequency crimp, long staple length, buttery soft handle, gentle temperament, and ideal conformation. Daughter of PPPeruvian Dracula and Granddaughter of Peruvian Caligula, Iceberg's dam Christabel produced a number of award winning offspring and many gorgeous fleeces of her own. She was an excellent mother, and took on the role of herd matriarch after retiring from her breeding career. Iceberg truly lives up to the standard set by his pedigree. He is well-covered in fleece which posesses excellent density, fineness, crimp, uniformity, and a lovely long staple length... and it won him a white colour champion ribbon at the Alpaca Ontario Fleece Show back in 2015! Under all that beautiful fibre, Iceberg is a very well-built male: with good substance of bone, straight legs and back, and a correct head. In 2018, Iceberg's first cria hit the ground! She is a near carbon copy of her sire, both in appearance and personality. It's a very promising start to his breeding career, and we are excited to see more of what he will produce.
