Introducing our new herdsire! Grey Fox....the beautiful grey son of Snowmass Sterling Legend (imported to Germany). First time out 2 firsts and a reserve color champion at 2013 IAO Cottage Division. (reserved to our US Steel) 2013 Futurity and 2013 Nationals Fleece show 2nd place with a 19.5/20 for fineness and handle. 2014 IAO 1st and Color Champion Commercial Fleece. 2014 IAO 1st and Color Champion Cottage Division. 2015 GWAS Fleece Show: 1st and Reserve Color Champion. This young male has a stunningly bright and dense silver grey fleece. He really does not like to show, but his fleece apparently likes to show and has done very well for us, as evidenced by his wins. His first cria are stunning and they are replicating Grey Fox's dense fleece with no spotting or very minimal spotting in the grey blankets. His 2016 at 4yrs 3 months Biopsy by Dr. Norm Evans shows a density of 59 follicles/sqmm. SP ratio is 11.5 to 1 with level 3 of 4 gland presence. 20% of secondary fibers show medullation and his 2ndary fibers average 22.3 microns and primary fibers averaging 29.7 giving him a variation of 7.4 microns.

Granite Bay Silver Spice comes from my best silver dam lines and is one of those rare females that pretty much has it all. Now she is producing it all! First 2 crias are both outstanding silver females. Spice has huge bone, a compact frame and dense, bright, luscious feeling, crimpy silver grey fleece! She is an excellent mom with lots of milk, easy birthing and you could literally sit under her and prop up a cria even before it an stand and she will let you continue to hold the cria while it nurses! When she was showing she stood like a rock and stacked herself square. Every angle on this female is great and she continued to show even when pregnant, taking home 1st and Reserve Color at the 2015 Futurity while she was pregnant with her first cria! We love this female and she is a SUPERSTAR! And if that isn't enough she won 1st, Color Champion and Judges Choice and Spirit of the Industry Award at the 2019 Gold Country Gathering Fleece on her 7th shearing. WOW!
