Xanadu P Descant was Reserve Color Champion at GWAS at 6 months and 4 days of age. Showing as a yearling just days after his first birthday he was Color Champion at ABR Fall Fest and AOK Blastoff. ABR Fall Fest Judge Ken Hibbits said of Descant: " I kept sorting back to him with that staple length, fineness, brightness, architecture, a superior fleece". Descant was half the age of the Reserve Champion according to the Judge "the fleece did it". Descant's has three 2018 cria on the ground at Flying Iron Ranch. All of his offspring have exhibited Descant's superior fleece characteristics and excellent conformation, placing very well in the show ring. We are happy to announce that FIR Descant's Debutane sold at the 2020 Amber Autumn Auction to Buck Brook Alpacas. Congratulations to Justin and Kara for a great addition to your herd. DeDe was awarded Judge's Choice at the Buckeye Fall Fest later that year!!

Victory's fleece has come in with very nice and her conformation is great. Judge Sharon Loner at AOK Blastoff said "she excels in density, staple, structure and hand". Her conformation was not quite as good as 1st. We are confident she will produce great offspring consistent with her heritage of Accoyo Express, Mile High and Snowmass Matrix. 2017 brings FIR SCARLETT a big beautiful bay black female sired by Snowmass Golden Sentry who is a multichampion as a yearling. Vicki's 2018 cria AJ by Descant is bright white with amazing fleece. At his first show at 6 months and 2 days he placed 4th at a very competitive large white juvi class at the AOA National Show. We look forward to him developing and showing in the coming years.

AJ is very well conformed bright white out of our FIR Indy's Victory Lap and our multiChampion Xanadu P Descant. AJ has a bright white, fine, uniform, well organized, dense fleece. Take a look at his pedigree and you will see AJ will make a great herdsire, Matrix Rose, Accoyo Express and Elite Maximus. AJ's first show was at AOA Nationals he just made it turning 6 months of age the day before the show started. He placed 4th in a very competitive white juvi class, we are looking forward to seeing him develop and continue his show career. Recently he took a 2nd place ribbon in halter at GWAS. We are pleased with his show career considering he is showing in white classes with tons of fawn and brown in his background.
