NOW STANDING AT ALPACA PALACE, PENNSYLVANIA, UNTIL LATE FALL 2016. The Lad will catch your eye in a heartbeat. LAD'S FLEECE TESTED AT 18.7 MICRONS WITH A 4.5 SD AT AGE 2!! AGE 8: HOLDING AT 20.2 with a 4.6 SD!! As the youngest in his class of 13, he placed third at the Great Western (06) and then went on to 1st and Color Champion at the ABR Fall Festival (2006). In March 2007, The Lad placed 1st at the Southwest Regional Show and at Texolan he took first and Reserve Color Champion. At Mopaca In January 2008, he was awarded first and Reserve Color Champion. His pen was crowded with admirers and he remains one of the main attractions for visitors to Dundee Farm. At his final show at GWAS, he placed first over a stunning true black Legacy grandson. The Lad's cria micron came it at 18.2 with a comfort factor of 99. By two years of age, it had risen to 18.7. The Lad's 2012 report (age 8) came in at: AFD: 20.2, SD: 4.6, CV: 22.8, >30: 3.1... amazing considering his age and color. His crias first fleeces are coming in from 14.8 to 18.0. He is dense, covered from head to toe to tail with curly, bright, fiber, and has extreme coverage on his remarkable head. He has the classic square bodied conformation and turns heads wherever he goes. The Lad's crias are ALL true black or dark brown. And...now a ROSE GREY out of a rose grey dam. They are winning in the show ring. Harris, owned by Annie's Alpaca Ranch, took a first at both GWAS and AOBA Nationals. Other standouts include Raine and Soldier (a Reserve Champion at 3 years old...MOPACA show, Reserve Champion at Oklahoma, and Champion at Ozarks Show) from Flatland Ranch, and Bonnie and from Manna Meadows.

Mile High Victoria's Secret

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 31304283DOB: 6/8/200816 yrs
Mile High Victoria’s Secret says “Move over runway girls”. Rich mahogany color, outstanding conformation, fine, dense fleece and a beautiful uniform crimp from tip to skin are just a few traits that have allowed Victoria’s Secret to experience the show ring success that her dam,Mile High Peruvian Hannah Bay, a 3-time color champion and her sire, the renowned El Nino’s Golden Legend, had set for their progeny to follow. El Nino’s Golden Legend is perhaps one of the most striking males that any breeder will encounter. Victoria’s Secret has certainly inherited and displays his phenotype and genetic traits. We are very excited to have added Mile High Peruvian Victoria’s Secret, as a future part of our breeding program. This beautiful female has introduced us to the show ring competition with memories that we will never forget. Watch as this beautiful female finishes her 2010 show career at GWAS 2010, before she is bred in June 2010 to Mile High Bandimere. This combination of genetics has us sleepless at night as we envision the cria that will be delivered in 2011. Mile High Victoria's Secret makes her home at the beautiful Sand Creek Criations Spa and Resort. Give them a call and schedule a visit to put your eyes and hands on this magnificent girl.

Service Sire: Dusty's Sir Lionel

Impressive!! Top 1% EPD's!!

Dusty's Sir Lionel

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 32195910DOB: 7/5/201113 yrs
Take a look at Lionel's Top EPD traits. See the traits running through his family lines. Lionel has extremely tight crimp and fineness. He has placed consistently at all shows he attended, and was also a large contributor in bringing home 1st and 2nd place winnings in the Produce of Dam class for - Sand Creek Chantilly Lace, who also has Top 1% EPD's. Lionel has been competitive with champions from large farms and always has exceptional comments on his fleece. OH MY!! His first offspring is a light brown male out of our True Black Roxanne, who is totally awesome! He stands straight and his fleece has a silky texture that shines and is also dense with character. He also has a curious calm temperament. Could not have asked for more. (See how Lionel's genetics came through to his offspring to improve upon the Dam's EPD genetics). We encourage you to come see him for yourself and see what his genetics can add to your program. Lionel packs on the fleece and his neck fleece has been long enough and fine enough to produce into nice yarn. His 2017 sheering produced nearly 10 pounds in blanket and neck with close to 14 pounds overall. He continues to improve and impress. Lionel's second cria we believe will be even more impressive than the first. More character and bundling already. Excited to see how he grows.

Description

Mahogany Bay is a beautiful dark brown female purchased specifically to add more diversified genetics to our program. Her first offspring Sienna is almost a spitting image of Mahogany with the beautiful shining brown fleece. Mahogany has been bred to Sir Lionel with the hopes of improving on the fleece qualities she lacks in while keeping her other fine qualities and conformation. Can't wait to see this offspring.
