2013 International Alpacas Odyssey - Reserve Color Champion! Leche is a beautiful and sweet Spanish Peaks Banderas daughter. She has excellent fleece quality with extreme fineness plus a lovely conformation. And that isn't even mentioning the eye-catching head. Genetics: Leche's sire, Spanish Peaks Banderas, has Victor and Pluro in his background, two top producing Peruvian studs. In fact both his parents are out of the Snowmass breeding program. He has won multiple championships and 11 blue ribbons in his show career, but more importantly he has produced top award winners, including CHAMPIONS. Leche's dam, Tasha Yar, has produced award winner after award winner. Her longevity of fineness was legendary before her passing. All of her offspring have that fineness along with her teddy bear look. Her genetics include top Peruvians El Moustachio and Don Julio. Leche was Tasha's last cria, making her one very special young female. Fleece: Leche's fleece is an extremely fine and soft-handling rich brown, and she is covered with it from head to toe. She also has a very long staple length. Both Banderas and Tasha are consistently producing offspring with superior fineness. Conformation: She's got the look! Leche turns heads on our farm. She is correctly proportioned and has a very typey head with a good bite. Dulce is expecting a spring of 2018 cria with a super dense sire, out of the notorious Rincon Cloud line! Very excited to see what happens with this pairing!
