PATAGONIA'S EL GALAN Patagonia’s El Galan has an elegant, soft handle, buttery fleece, and is a strong-boned pure white herdsire that has recently had drop dead crias hit the ground. It is nice to finally select the right breedings for this magnificent male to see his full potential as a sire of champions. El Galan’s progeny truly remind me of what his sire, Patagonia’s Cayo, looked like when he was a juvenile. El Galan’s dam, Patagonia’s Fantasma, has a show record of her own, and is on our foundation herd. El Galan has a nice stature, very crimpy fleece that is remaining soft, bright, and silky. This sire is definitely passing on these wonderful characteristics to his progeny with bundling, beautiful structure, uniformity of micron count and color in their fleece, adding dense, dense fleece and staple length. During the 2017 show season, his stunning juvenile crias have received Color Champion, Reserve Champion, and Blue and Red ribbons. In addition, his daughter Estates Wedding Tapistry was selected as the 2017 ABI Judge's Choice Winner! We couldn't be more pleased! ESTATES SWEET TAFFY Taffy is the daughter of our wonderful fawn herdsire, R&R Trojan 52T, whose crias have been exemplary with outstanding fineness, gorgeous crimp, beautiful large bones, and the total package! Trojan inherits his strong genetics from his sire, R&RR Oliver Twist who has consistently been producing outstanding offspring in Canada and the United States, that exhibit fine, uniform micron in their fleeces, along with crimp and correct, solid conformation. They both come from Canadian Judge Ruth Elvestad’s dynamic breeding program with emphasis on fineness and density. Her dam, Toffie is out of the Jolimont line in Canada. Offspring: On 7/8/18, Taffy gave us ESTATES HI 5 GOLDEN BLOSSOM, a lovely medium fawn female sired by our multi-champion Patagonia’s El Galan. Golden Blossom won 1st Place at the 2019 Carolina Alpaca Celebration, and is now a champion-producing female on our ranch. On 8/27/20, Taffy presented us with ESTATES OJOS BONITOS, a beautiful light fawn female sired by our incredible multi-champion, Snowmass Pure Passion. On 5/24/22, Taffy gave birth to a good-looking medium fawn male cria.
