Cinders is the 2016 and 2017 AAA Futurity Dark Herd Sire of the Year and the 2018 Reserve Dark Herd Sire of the Year! He is also a 3 time Herd Sire of the Year for the Medium Breeder Division! Cinders had his first offspring on the ground in the spring of 2012 and his kids showed at the 2013 GWAS in Denver coming out of the ring with blue ribbons and much acclaim. Of the four entered all four won blue ribbons with Mystique going on the win the Reserve Color Championship. With a biopsy density of 67.5 at four years old, this guy has some impressive fiber stats. His first Great Lakes Ranch offspring certainly did not disappoint in 2015 nor in 2016. Needless to say Cinders is a welcome addition to our herd sire line up. Cinders is closed to outside breedings. This little girl turned some heads at her only show last year! She is a remarkable alpaca and we can't wait to get her back into the show ring. She has that look about her that Balboa has been known to produce and we expect she will produce some high quality alpacas. Balboa's Rogue is a product of some of the most amazing and well known genetics in the alpaca industry. Her dam, Miramonte of PVA, has earned several Color Champion ribbons in her show career. Miramonte received a Color Champion at the 2004 AOBA Nationals and a Reserve Color Champion at the 2004 Futurity. Also in 2005, Miramonte received a Color Champion at the AWE. Not only has Miramonte earned herself some Color Championships, but she has also produced Color Champion offspring. Mirante of PVA was a Color Champion at the 2009 CABA Classic and also was a Reserve Color Champion at the 2010 AOBA Nationals. Another of Miramonte's Color Champion off spring is Mikimoto of PVA, who was a Color Champion at the 2008 AOBA Nationals and also at the 2008 GWAS. Rogue's sire, MacGyver's Balboa, is a 17 time Color Champion winner and also received Dark Suri and Light Reserve Herdsire of the Year in 2011. Balboa's offspring have won over 40 Championships and 2 IAO Best Head Awards. Rogue has a white Cinders female on her side with extreme luster. Rogue will be held open until Summer 2019 breeding season.
