If you want genetics that provide excellent substance of bone, amazing density and blanket weight, we have a sire ready to breed into your herd. When Navigator was shorn in 2018 we collect over 5 lbs just from the blanket and 2 lbs from his neck! He has fineness and density galore and amazing staple length. In fact, he's in the top 5% in fleece weight EPD's. So if you need to add these qualities to your herd, he's a great choice. Navigator travelled to a few shows in 2017 and 2018 and fared well even though he was up against incredibly tough competition from much larger and more well-established farms than us. We were extremely happy with his results against lots of other males in his class. Navigator's first crias arrived Spring of 2022 and are showing exactly what we hoped for from him--superior density and good substance of bone.

Description

Cherry Bomb may carry brown fleece but she comes from stunning gray stock and has thrown gray in the past. Out of one of the best gray programs in the country, A Paca Fun Farm, she is out of Light Rose Gray on her sire's side and Dark Silver Gray on her dam's. And she's currently bred to an excellent sire that is Medium Silver Gray. Cherry Bomb's fleece is a beautiful, exceptionally soft and bright Medium Brown. Last year's cria, Crusader is a spitting image of mom so even if she doesn't throw gray, she definitely passes down that bright, soft fleece. Which is what's important anyway! And the icing on the cake? Cherry Bomb is one of the sweetest females in our herd, always walking up to greet newcomers and owners alike. She's also an exceptional mother who bonds with her cria and gives excellent care and attention to. Spring 2022: Cherry Bomb has just been bred to our own Royale Navigator. And we can't wait to see what these two beautiful alpacas produce.
