Jeremiah, Jumanji’s sire, was born right here on our farm at Majestic Meadows Alpacas and then FIVE YEARS LATER ON the very same date Jeremiah sired an extraordinary male for us… Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji. Father and son both born on June 16 and both extraordinary males that continue to elevate our breeding program to the top. As with Jeremiah, Jumanji was extraordinary from a very early age and has impressed the most well-respected judges in our industry. The degree of density, fineness, character and consistency seen in Jumanji's fleece is truly extraordinary and something that every judge that has seen him has praised and awarded him highly for. His fleece is a wonderful dark fawn color with beautiful bundles, and an elite high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp coupled with incredible fineness. Even more amazing is the consistency in his fleece - it is the same from his hocks to his ears, running down under his belly. Packing all of that fiber onto a beautiful and conformationally correct frame, Jumanji stands proudly as another multiple champion son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. His dam is an incredible dark fawn female named Peruvian Jasmine. Each of Jasmine's crias have been phenomenal, such as multiple champions Majestic Peruvian Olivia, Majestic Peruvian Jillian, Our Peruvian Jezebelle, and champion winning Jeremiah's Peruvian Grand Slam! With a pedigree like his, he was sure to be a winner! Jumanji’s offspring are now taking their rightful place in the showring at the top of the class winning championships and top ribbons in shows all across the country. The consistency we are seeing in Jumanji’s offspring has been an exciting thing for us as breeders to watch and we are proud to say that we feel Jumanji is doing is father very proud and producing the kind of top quality offspring we have been striving to breed for. This Jumanji son has it all. Most importantly a winning show record for both fleece and halter. We purchased A Man Among Men at the 2016 futurity and he has been winning every since. His record as a juvenile is unmatched, starting with the 2016 Futurity and ending with being in the running for Supreme Champion at the 2017 AOA Nationals. At the nationals he received light color champion in the Invited light classification. When we looked at this boy at the futurity, Dave & I were simply blown away. I have never seen fiber this beautiful. His full brother was the high seller at the 2016 Futurity auction. Not only is his fiber incredibly dense it is long with the most luster & character I have ever seen. And this was not just our appraisal, everyone at the show were amazed by he and his full brother's fiber. Breeder of A Man Among Men Faye Farley of Majestic Meadows was awarded breeder of the year and Herdsire of the year for Man's father Jumangi. We are so honored to have the progeny of this Herdsire of the Year at our ranch. Man Among Men's fiber and phenotype is all Jumani. The only difference is his fiber is light, but don't let the light fiber shy you away, there is ample color in his background. We purchased him on the spot and then he went into the show ring and won first for light and color champion in a very large 2016 field of alpacas. Man Among Men has been winning ever since. His show record rivals and surpasses many of the top breeders in the nation. Man's breeder Faye Farley of Majestic Meadows describes Man Among Men as having a "Breathtaking fleece and breathtaking phenotype". An excellent combination for sure!" All you have to do is look at this fiber and you know he is destined for greatness. AOA agrees by giving Man a first place in white male juvenile fleece in 2016 AOA National Fleece show. The most striking quality is his uniformity. His histogram value for uniformity is outstanding. Check out his histogram and in particular his standard deviation for average fiber diameter of 2.9. His entire histogram is exceptional. His fleece is bright, has magnificent luster and a handle to die for. A Man Among Men has lots of color in his background. His full brother is brown and his mother and father are dark fawn. Grandmother and Grandfather on mother's side are dark brown and true black respectively. His color breeding will be versatile in producing both light and dark with the right pairings. Look in AOA for Man's 2017 EPD trait values, some of the best I have ever seen for all around values.
