Amirror' first crias all arrived July 2018. Dusty a dark fawn female, Cooper a dark brown male and Montague (Monty) a bright shiny white male. Although Amirror is an excellent alpaca we like his older brother just a little bit better so have decide to let Amirror go. His third fleece is amazing, Grade 1, 19 micron, 4 inches. It feels so incredibly soft and will be felted into wonderful shawls. Amirror's fourth fleece is still amazingly soft and fine at Grade 2, 21 microns 4 inches.

Yazhi's first cria was a beautiful bay black male - Black Ball, sired by Reflection. Yazhi's second cria is a crimpy bay black female - Peace, sired by Khan. This cria has great fibre. She is also probably the most independent cria we have ever had. For 2017 Yazhi was bred to our up and coming herdsire - Truly Blessed Eh! This was TB's first breeding and they produced a lovely bay black female - Truly Cute. Yazhi seems to pick the cria's colour, her 2018 male cria is another beautiful bay black, sired by our terrific silver grey herdsire Amirror. Yazhi is a very special alpaca and probably Carolyn's favourite female alpaca. Until she was bred Yazhi was the first alpaca to greet our farm visitors. She is still extremely calm and laid back, nothing seems to bother her. We have taken Yazhi to visit a couple of the local nursing homes; the residents were just delighted with her. Yazhi was often stubborn about leaving as she loved the attention. She has also attended Reading Club at two local libraries and the Flesherton Farmer's Market. We hope she passes on this personality to her crias. Now Yazhi is content to stay at home with the other moms. Yazhi's black fibre is very dense and very soft. Her cria fleece was wavy, her second fleece had a much more defined crimp to it. Yazhi means "little one" in Navajo, she weighed 15.4 lbs at birth, the smallest of our crias that year. She is still a bit smaller than the others.
