HuacayaBred (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 32431360DOB: 6/15/201311 yrs
We bought this gorgeous female from Lynn Edens back at the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction auction and haven't looked back since! She produces produced only the best quality, seed stock, animals we carry at Red Granite Ranch. We love the fineness, excellent uniformity, and super high frequency crimp style in the fleece of this lovely fawn female. And she carries it on a beautifully proportioned, well-sized frame. Best of all, this daughter of Lancaster's Highland Chieftain and granddaughter of both Lancaster and NM Beethoven has outstanding potential to produce rich dark color with the fineness and uniformity we seek in white. Her 2018 daughter sired by Val D Lsere sold for $40,000 at the 2020 Amber Autumn Auction to a Belgium breeder with an eye of success. She was a 4x Judges' Choice winner and 12x Champion winner. Her 2019 son also sired by Val D Lsere was the 2021 Futurity White Male Color Champion and has one of the most high developed fleeces from Val D Lsere. Description

Red Granites Cricket is a stunning young herdsire prospect. He is exhibiting an outstanding level of fineness, coupled with excellent density as well as uniformity across his frame and well into his extremitites. He is showing a advanced fleece with a high frequency crimp style with soft handle and superb brightness. These fantastic traits all stand on a large, correct and true to type frame. Cricket did not come about by pure chance or luck. His sire, Accoyo America Kashmir, is a five-time champion, and multiple judges' choice winner and a PCA Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus son. He is a leading stud at Little Creek Farm/Snowmass Alpacas and is consistent in producing top quality seed stock animals. His average micron number within his 2012 cria crop was 14.4 with an average SD of 3.1, THATS AMAZING! When pairing Kashmir with Little Carmela a Lancaster's Highland Chieftain daughter, we only expected the best. Little Carmela is a female that we consider to be one of the best producing females around. She exhibits a incredible fineness, and definitely has the ability to pass this trait on to her crias, along with an advanced fleece style, density, trueness to type, brightness and a great ability to produce color. Her medium fawn daughter; Red Granites Cinnamon by Val D Lsere (twelve-time champion, four-time judges' choice winner) sold for an incredible $40,000 to a Belgium breeder back in 2020 at the Amber Autumn Auction, she was the second highest seller overall and was the highest selling female of the auction. From this we can see that Cricket always had the potential to be an elite animal, but he has far exceeded the expectations. His first cria are nothing short but fantastic! He has many more breedings for next year as we have now fully seen his potential as a herdsire. He is completely unrelated to any of our animals - therefor we will be covering him on our Sizzy, Val D Lsere, Creed, and Bad Boy lines. Contact us to sceduale a breeding!
