Grand River Columbo is a gorgeous son of Rincon Cloud. We purchased him from Whistler's Glen and Coffee Pot farms in Ohio to bring some rare gray genetics to our farm and the Midwest. He has put some stunning cria on the ground for those two farms as well as their customers. His fleece is holding the crimp structure very well for a breeding male. It is quite consistent throughout his entire frame. His fineness is incredible and he is dense, dense, dense. Really a well rounded alpaca in a gray fleece. His disposition is wonderful and his head is beautiful. Ricon Cloud brings Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol, and Danko to the genetic mix as well as an incredible female in Camana's Snowy River. In addition to Rincon Cloud, Columbo's dam brings Dark Shaddow. These are highly sought after, impressive genetics. Any farm with a gray program should be giving Columbo serious consideration. Serious breeders know the Cloud line and understand it's value in breeding for gray. We brought him home and Jim Shaw, Barb Bernardi and Bruce Bernardi of Prairie Rose Alpacas were impressed enough to purchase half interest in him! Come take a look at him. You really need to see his fleece! He has thrown grey from brown and black dams. Columbo kids are doing well in the ring for us as well as customers who have bred to Columbo. Judges have commended his cria for excellent coverage from ears to toes, bright fleece and excellent handle. We are just in LOVE with our Columbo son Spittin Image! Description

Belle is a gorgeous show quality daughter of our Grand River Columbo and Delphi's Liberte Eclairant. She has excellent conformation and a lovely handling fleece. She has done quite well in her first season of shows with judges commenting on her uniformity of staple length and wonderful handle to the fleece. She has a beautiful head to top off her lovely frame and fleece. Her mom Libby is a white out of 2 grays and contributes the lovely handle to Belle's fleece. Her sire also maintains a soft handling fleece at his age and we expect Belle to maintain her fleece qualities as well. She has very good architecture to the fleece as well as excellent staple. She is just what we wanted from this pairing! Take a look at her ARI and you will see some very impressive names including Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud and Snowmass Enlightenment. Lots of gray and color. Belle took a 2nd and Reserve Championship as a juvie behind the Color Champion at Rail Splitter Show in Springfield, Illinois and was given strong consideration for Reserve at the Wisconsin show. We love this little gal! Belle has matured into a lovely female. She was a very good first time mom. Her first offspring is a beautiful brown female daughter sired by E Pluribus Unum. She did not disappoint us with this cria. Her cria Penny took a 2nd in her very first show! For Belle's second baby she has been bred to Bomber!! Bomber is one of the best known gray herdsires around and we are really looking forward to this cria!!!! Belle delivered a beautiful rose gray female from her pairing with Bomber! We could not be happier about this cria. She is quite lovely!!
