FOR SALE, 50% OWNERSHIP IN MAJESTIC'S MAN AMONG MEN!!!! Majestic's Man, a Jumanji son, has it all. This pre-potent male now has 28 offspring. Most importantly a long winning show record for Man and his offspring for both fleece and halter. Man's show record as a juvenile is unmatched, starting with the 2016 Futurity and ending with being in the running for Supreme Champion at the 2017 AOA Nationals. Majestic's Man's fleece density is likely in the top 100 alpacas in the AOA database. His 2022 fleece weighed in at 14.5 pounds. This trait of density is definitely passed on to his offspring. His fleece weight EPD is 1.25%. Now, having had many offspring of Man's in my herd, I can assure anyone interested in breeding that he will produce density in all his cria. One of his offspring, Rockstar's Material Girl took all the top fleece honors at the Gold Country Gathering in 2021. Majestic's Man's fiber and phenotype are all Jumanji. The only difference is his fiber is light, but don't let the light fiber shy you away, there is ample color in his background. Man has been genetically color tested and those results are available upon request. During his show career, every time his fleece was shown it was classified as white, in halter beige. Man's breeder Faye Farley of Majestic Meadows describes Man Among Men as having a "Breathtaking fleece and breathtaking phenotype". "An excellent combination for sure!" All you have to do is look at this fiber and you know he was destined for greatness. AOA agrees by giving Man a first place in white male juvenile fleece in 2016 AOA National Fleece show. The most striking quality is his uniformity. We purchased him on the spot and then he went into the show ring at six months. He won first for light and color champion in a very large 2016 field of alpacas.

Dam: River's Sahara

Bred to Majestic's A Man Among Men

River's Sahara

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 35048060DOB: 4/8/20159 yrs
River's Sahara had our first Majestic's Man cria. He is one big bundle of fiber, from the tip of his nose to tip of his toes. So much fiber. Sahara is a farm favorite. She has an elite fleece, she has an ideal phenotype and coming from Hemingway's Bogart's genetics she will have the Histogram and E.P.D. values to match the rest. Bogart gives all his progeny improved fleece, genetics, and phenotype. Bogie also gave Sahara what he is truly known for, and that is longevity of fineness. River’s Sahara brings world class fineness on her top side and density on the bottom. Blending quality genetics directed toward optimum fleece character in every trait. Sahara’s fineness genetics are from grand sire Peruvian Hemingway and sire Hemingway’s Bogart. Sahara’s service sire is Majestic’s A Man Among Men, son of the 2016 Herd sire of the Year, Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji, and full brother to Majestic’s A Wanted Man, top seller at the 2016 Futurity Auction. Majestic' s“Man”, as we call him, is a multi-champion in his own right, with five color championships, including 2017 AOA Nationals, 2nd only to the supreme champion of that year. This breeding pair brought forth a cria with ideal fleece character. Hemingway’s Bogart’s fleece values at age 18 is AFD of 22 microns, with a SD of 4.0 and CV of 18. Sahara also has very respectable EPD trait values. Seven EPD trait categories are in the top 10 percent, AFD, SDAFD, SF, %F>30, %M, MC & SDMC. 2017 Histogram Values for Sahara are: AFD 18.4, SD 3.5, CV 19.4, %F>30 0.8%. We took Bogart's fleece he produced at age 16 to the the Snow Diamond Auction and the most common response was "Wow, he is really 16?" Bogie's fleece amazed everyone, he is still fine, uniform, and has a luxurious handle. His only age related fault was staple length. Sahara's EPD values are better than 75% in nearly every trait for every animal in the database for 2017, with better than 90% for a majority of the fleece traits. Sahara is a big girl with lots of bone. She has an ideal phenotype. All of which should make for easy birthing. Her dam Summer as well as all our Bogie girls, have had many cria, producing good sized cria and lots of nourishment. Sahara's superior lineage is evident in her more than respectable 2017 E.P.D. values. Trait Value Acc Rank Rank% AFD -1.234 0.448 4,324 of 42,558 10.17% Top 15% SDAFD -0.428 0.4

Description

The first cria for us from Majestic's A Man Among Men, and what a little stunner. We call this cria Big Man, and his fleece is already noticeably dense, lots of character with spaghetti bundled architecture and wow does he have staple length. Look at that luster too. He is our first Man baby, but also our first combination of Hemingway's Bogart on the bottom and A Man Among Men on the top. Dam Sahara is out of a foundation Renaissance Ridge dam purchase known for her density and staple length. Dam's Sire, Hemingway's Bogart provided the fineness and the other fineness character traits along with excellent EPDs. Man Among Men enhances this boys density, provide fiber character, luster, handle, crimp and staple length. Bogart is known for his longevity of fineness and uniformity. Man on a Mission should turn out to be a very promising Herdsire with the best of old world genetics and new world genetics together in one package. This cria's phenotype is ideal. Straight legs, straight back, equal neck to truck ratio and good substance of bone. His bite is idea, as is his head. At just over 6 months he had a respectable placing at both the National's and Futurity. What got him in the lineup going head to head with the large farms was by far his staple length. All judges he showed under commented his placements were due to his amazing staple length. Amanda VandenBosch words were "He really grows staple length" when handing out the ribbons. Check out his well rounded EPD picture, what you would like in every trait. Wow. This is truly a well rounded EPD portrait given that nearly all trait values are below 15% ranking compared to the national herd. His SL EPD is not bad either. The proof is in the fiber, and picture one says it all.
