Avatar has beautiful crimpy, dense, and fine fleece, but what separates him from other outstanding herd sires, is his phenomenal handle - due to both exceptional uniformity, and very bright, low scale fiber. Cameron Holt, AOBA Senior Judge Trainer and world wide fiber expert, gave the following scores to Avatar's fleece: Fineness: 15 out of 15 ; Handle: 5 out of 5 ; Uniformity of micron: 7 out of 8 ; Crimp: 8.5 out of 10 ; Density: 3 out of 5 ; Brightness: 8 out of 10 ; Lack of medullation: 8 out of 10. His daughter Delphi's Lailah won Color Champion Grey Female Fleece at the 2012 Nationals. His son Delphi's Rama won a Blue Ribbon at the 2012 National Fleece Show, (and then brown Color Champion at the Tenessee Waltz Fleece Show). These two Avatar kids insured Delphi's win of the 2012 Classic Cup for fleece, at the 2012 Nationals. Another standout offspring is Kanaka - an 8X Champion with 1% EPD's in both SD and >30; and 2% EPD's in fineness. While we don't participate in the program, we agree Avatar's son Kanaka's EPD stats do reflect his sire's strong suits. Avatar's many other crias now include Six AOBA National Halter or Fleece Champions, several Futurity Champions, and many many many Multi-Champion and Blue Ribbon show winners, in addition to the winners of many Special Awards, such as the Best Brightness award at the National Fleece Show - the first time this award has been awarded to a grey. No holds bar best producer on our ranch. We purchased Summer when she was 11 knowing that she had the potential to bring many more years of awesome crias and she has exceeded our expectations. We have a daughter a granddaughter in our program and fingers crossed her 2021 cria a TB male sired by Orlando Cloud, we are waiting to see how he develops but have high hopes for this boy!!! She won a championship with her fleece at 7 years old and is the maker of many champions!!! We believe our success is in the success of our clients!!!

Rosehaven Alpacas is so PROUD of Triple Threat!! He has finished out this odd 2020 year at the Buckeye and at Neaoba. Taking a championship at Paoba (20) and then at the Neaoba double show - both championships (21&22) and then was rewarded with Judges Choice (#4 JCs and his 23rd banner). Since Triple is happily breeding now - we are pleased to have him stay home now that he has worked so well in the show ring he will now prove his worth as a breeding male!! He already has many girls bred this past spring and summer. Looking forward to those crias! Can't wait!! He took 3 Banners at CABO 2020. One in Halter and one in Walking Fleece. AND THEN JUDGES CHOICE!!!!! Triple followed up those wins by winning The Grey Invited Championship at The Nationals. That makes 19 Banners including 3 JUDGES CHOICES. He took Judges Choice in Halter at Empire and one in Fleece at the Midwest show. Only 3 grey males have been chosen as Judges Choice in halter in the United States. We are in awe of this male. This incredible male is the result of a cross of Treasure Valleys Tres Equis and Estates Spiridone. Tres Equis is the son of legendary Snowmass XXXtreme (only 3 greys out of XXX) and brother of Snowmass Enlightment and Estates Spiridone, daughter of Neversummer's US Steel. We were so pleased with this cross that we bought his sire Treasure Valley's Tres Equis. Now we own both his sire and dam Spiridone. And we have rebred Spiridone to Tres!!
