Denali, like the majestic Alaskan Mountain will capture your heart. This georgeous light rose grey male has stunning fiber that is crimpy all the way to his topknot. Denali has great conformation and breath taking fiber. His EPD's (which represent his genetic potential) put him in the top 5% of the national herd. 2014 EPD compared 16828 males. Here are his incredible numbers and his rank in the national herd: AFD -1.497 - 760 - Top 4.6% SD -0.458 - 547 - Top 3.2% SF -1.719 - 480 - Top 2.8% %>30 -5.989 - 648 - Top 3.8% In addition to fabulous color, his sire, Silver Rose Sentinel has bestowed upon him great density. He continues to hold his fineness, 2013 AFD is 19.5 micron and 2014 AFD is 21.8 micron. He is 5 years old and more than ready to breed. We purchased him from another breeder that couldn't use him in their breeding program. But we can and he has already settled his first girls, like a pro! We can't wait to see what he produces. His breeding fee is set at an introductory rate of $750. But we're sure it will rise once his cria hit the ground! Denali's first cria is on the ground! He's a gorgeous medium silver grey out of a black dam (with white background)! He's growing like a weed and we're loving his fleece! Don't let the picture of him with muddy legs fool you, he's got tons of coverage:) And check out his first histogram: 14.8 micron! Look for him in the show ring soon! And check out his 2018 daughter! For now a really pretty light fawn, but she's hinting to "gray up".

Jubilee has beautiful dark rose grey fleece. At six years, her 24 micron fleece is very uniform and quite fine for a grey. Her 2012 EPDs confirm what we already know. She produces cria with very dense, fine, crimpy, uniform fleece! 2012 EPDs: AFD -0.993, SD -0.435, %>30-5.387. Jubilee is an excellent mother who gives birth easily and has plenty of milk for her cria. In fact she has been known to nurse more than one cria at the same time after the second cria's mother died. Jubilee came to us bred to Ruidoso. After waiting weeks past the due date, her cria was born during National Alpaca Farm Days to an audience of farm visitors. It was an amazing experience so we named the girl Jewel in honor of the event! A few months after Jewel was born (and Jubilee was rebred), we believed Jubilee was pregnant again. While we were walking our white herdsire (Ike) through the pasture to breed another girl, Jubilee walked up and cushed right in front of him. We took it as a sign and went ahead and let her breed to Ike. That unplanned breeding gave us a gorgeous medium fawn girl, Sabina. We can't wait to see how she does in the spring shows. Both Jewel and Sabina have bright, dense, crimpy fleece to go with their perfect conformation. In 2012, we bred Jubilee to our light silver grey herdsire, Amego. On February 5th, they gave us a beautiful medium rose gray girl. Or so we thought... until shearing day. As the fleece came off, we were delighted to find an even prettier silver gray underneath! We are so excited to have produced a gray girl and have high hopes for her future. For her 2014 cria, we again bred Jubilee to Amego in the hope of another grey cria. And boy did they come through! We got a grgeous lighter silver grey boy. Like the first fleece from his full sister Rose, his tips are rose grey but underneath it's a pretty silver grey. Check out the sturdy build and conformation! We can't wait to see how he grows up. Since Jubilee has given us two grey and one black out of four breedings on our ranch, we bred her to our new herdsire Snowmass Velvet Legend... Twice! The first breeding gave us Mocha Mist, a gorgeous dark silver gray girl (see below) and the second gave us another striking dark silver gray, this time a boy! Jubilee is currently bred to Arapaho Sentinel's Denali, another striking rose gray boy for a spring 2018 cria. Denali has amazing retained fineness and uniformity. We can't wait to see what they produce! Jubilee sells with our 30 day live cria guarantee and a free breeding to any unrestricted Menagerie Hill Ranch owned Herdsire.

Description

What a pretty girl! She's likely going to be light fading fawn or light rose gray, it's hard to tell at this point. But in love with the curly crimpy bundles in her 2 week old cria fleece! We can't wait to see how she grows up:)
